Critically ill Pramad ponders about Kumud...is he in love with her?

Ok viewers brace up for some engaging drama in Star Plus' love saga "Saraswatichandra"! We saw a heartbreaking twist with Saras taking a vow to stay away from Kumud if she regains consciousness. Kumud recovers and the first person her eyes seek is her soul mate, but Saras avoids her. She somehow tricks him into coming to her hospital room and convinces him that they are made for each other and life has given them another chance at happiness. Sumud have a heart to heart connection coz even in her unconscious state she sensed his presence and heard everything he said, his promises...She drills into his head that even death can't keep them apart. She cries and extends her hand...Saras is still hesitant...the inherent fear in his heart that all his loved ones eventually leave him. But the love shining in her eyes is his undoing and he breaks his vow and hugs her closely.

Kalika senses Kusum loves Saras
Kumud gets an early discharge from hospital and returns home to a warm welcome from her family. Everyone is happy except Kusum, who is quiet and subdued. The shrewd Kalika senses that Kusum is madly in love with Saras and her devilish mind is back to trickery. Just then a proposal from a heart specialist comes for Kusum and everyone excitedly start talking about it. Kusum nurses a broken heart by shedding tears when Kalika sneaks up to her and says that she should forget Saras as he has eyes only for Kumud.

Saras bashes Pramad
Saras and Kumud share a tender moment where he lovingly adorns her feet with his mom's anklets. Just then he gets a call from Pramad asking after Kumud'd health. This enrages Saras who heads out to meet him and learns that Pramad was behind Kumud's accident. A furious Saras batters him blue and black when a doctor intervenes and tells him that Pramad has liver cirrhosis and is counting his last days. Pramad taunts him saying that he had better get him treated by a good doctor or else if he dies before the divorce comes through his Kumud will become a widow. He also tells him to inform Kumud about his deteriorating health. Saras wants to tell Kumud about Pramad's critical illness but refrains from doing so because he fears her negative reaction may jeopardize their blooming relationship once again.

Pramad thinks about Kumud
Kalika comes to meet Pramad and gloat that she is now Kumud's bhabhi. Pramad persistently asks after Kumud's health and she retorts that when she was with him, Pramad treated her like dirt and now suddenly he cares! Pramad arrogantly declares that Kumud will be his always... I won't let her become Saras' even after my death. Kalika mockingly insinuates that he has become like Kumud's lover Saras. Pramad is thinking about Kumud and lovingly touches her photo. He admits he has made a big mistake and doesn't know how to rectify it. He is in a dilemma, though his heart is pushing him to meet her. He tosses a coin to make the decision and laughs sardonically on seeing the outcome!
