New Drama Watch List

Prime Minister and I: To be honest, I don't expect much. The pairing & plot is unconventional and that is what makes the drama so promising and exciting to look forward to. But, Yoona? I cannot get behind that bandwagon. Just no. I have no idea who the main man is. Though I do recognize the second leads (both male and female). So, the only reason I am giving this a shot is because of the premise. One condition: I ask that the heroine be HALF decent (not likely) & atleast hold her own around the man who holds so much power. Otherwise, I will drop it like a hot potato.

Anyways, those are my thoughts on the upcoming storm of TV shows. What are some of the shows that made it to your watch list? Any comments about the shows about? Let me know down below.

thank you. I was (kind of) expecting rotten tomatoes thrown at me. So atleast I have someone on my side. that woman can't act for shit.

and then to top it off, it's with Lee Beom Soo...THE Lee Beom Soo, he's like a drama legend...i can just feel the anti's already...I don't know if I'll tune in, the rest of the dramas this reason would have to be horrendous for me to want to watch this lol
I had to google Lee Beom Soo. I feel ashamed 😳 not really. I'll blame it on my younger genes😉😉
Hmmm I am looking forward to the Man from Another Star cause 1) Kim Soo Hyun = yum 2) Jin Ji Hyun comeback!!! She's amazing and I think this will be an interesting drama indeyoed although I fail to understand how a professor looks this young and beautiful lol mine all look old and ugly haha

Mom who needs a man looks super cute, I want to check that one out...I'm not sure about Woman Who Marries Thrice, it hasn't perked my interest yet
I am thinking of dropping it today. It has a lot of in-law drama so far and I do not need to be watching that.
I am mildly interested in Pretty Boy with IU and Jang Geun Suk although he better cut his hair soon because god it's atrocious but the story seems like it might be cute. I have always loved IU's acting...she's a fine example of crossover from singer to acting (my other fav being Eun Ji)

I am so annoyed by Asia's Prince's *rolls eyes* antics these days that I might just skip over this one. Love Rain was a DISASTER but this one atleast sounds all fluff. Maybe I will wait till it has finished airing.

oh and he did cut that ugly mess of a hairdo FINALLY!

I'm actually looking forward to tvN's Let's Eat - my two favs in one - food and love!😆 tvN has always pleased me with it's out of the box series and zippy drama's so I'm looking forward to this one!

I'm terms of variety...I am sooo excited for second season spin off of Grandpa's Over Flowers...aptly titled with Noona's Over Flowers😆 with Lee Seungi as the luggage boy this time...if you haven't checked out the first season yet, it's a reality show about 4 of our fav grandpa actors who take an adventures...
I have been searching for a subbed version for way too long. le sigh. and yes noonas over flowers aka RUN SEINGI (running joke on set)😆 I am so excited for this one. just a breath of fresh air.
And finally MIss Korea - I am super interested in this one and if they do it right, I think it's going to be awesome...I mean, it's pretty much the Korean version of Little Miss Sunshine except it's a grown woman, a bigger competition and a whole village rooting for our main lead!
I forgot about this one. I should have included it. I am definately going to give it a watch even if just to find out what the hype is about. And Little Miss Sunshine is one of my favourite movies of all times (that'll tell you somethings😆) now you've got me curious.
After the disappointment of Heirs and the surprise of Secret, I know not to get my hopes up for anything - really- and definitely try and give a shot to drama's you don't think you'd expect to like, cause you never know!

I personally feel she is so much of a better actor in all of the female K pop idols!!!! I would have preferred her over Yoona, if they wanted someone famous!!!!

P.S...You do know, Anne and Tik's Yeh Leum Chan, personally my most awaited Thailand drama! They look sizzling together in the BTS!! And, let me tell ya this pair is gonna give tough competition to Ken and Anne's pair! There was this interview where Tik was like, "I hope we get to do more close and romantic scenes"!😆..I have been waiting for months and years for this pairing to happen!! And it seems like a very passionate, revenge, betrayal drama a little like Sawan Biang! 😃

Another one on my list is Dao Kiang Deun with Namtarn (Pichy) and Ken Phumpoo - if you saw Majurat See Nampeung, she was in that with the other, more famous, Ken lol they're both new but BTS shows lots of chemistry so I think it might be good!

Ok i'm mainly consider watching Miss Korea and Man from another star.

Man from another star, mainly cause it stars Jun Ji hyun! I just adore her and seeing her in dramas would be a different ball game. I have no problem with the premise as such. Although i'm not a huge fan of supernatural meets rom com kind of dramas, but yah this one i'm willing to give a shot, the stills give a positive vibe. Plus Jun ji jyun plays a hot shot super star. Bas, any story having a hot shot super star as one of the characters just has me in 😆

Miss Korea, should be interesting with the small town girl trying to go up being the beauty queen (or rather people trying their best to turn her into one 😆)

Staying away from Prime Minister and I cause of the Yoona factor too haha. But i am very indecisive about whether to watch pretty man or not. Because both Jang Geun Suk and IU are playing the same monotonous roles all over again. Esp geun suk, man he needs to do something apart from those dashing arrogant stud guy kind of roles, and IU is too pretty to play ugly.
