Anandi has expressed her desire to adopt a child. Here are 5 reasons the lovely couple Shiv and Anandi should go ahead and adopt a child.

Lead by Example: Anandi has just started a NGO for women and adopting a child will further strengthen this endeavor. By doing this, Anandi will lead by example and give another dimension and objective to the organization.

Breaking away from old fashioned traditions: Adopting a child will also be seen as breaking away from old fashioned tradition and can also be termed as progressive. This might be a new chapter for all the women in the surrounding area from which they will learn and get inspired.

Women Empowerment: Anandi has already raised issues like women safety and women empowerment and by this move she will make people aware of orphans and abandoned children. She will inspire people to do more for homeless kids.

Career Graph: This will also have a positive impact on Shiv's stature as a collector who has always stood for the right and progressive things. By doing this, Anandi will make people respect Shiv more as a collector

Philanthropist: By doing this the couple will live up to their image of being philanthropist. They have always stood up for good causes in the society whether it is women safety or making women independent. They will yet again set an example and create awareness to do something for the needy.

But the first reason should be they want to give their love as parents to the orphan child. Adopting is a very personal decision and it should not be governed by philanthropist image or for career graph.

i am quiet disappointed with the reasons given here because now i think nowhere it seems AnSh are adopting this child to enter in parenthood by giving a orphan a family and home...they are just doing it for sake of social work

Crap reasons! Adopting a child involves a lot of emotions and responsibities on the part of the couple. Idiotic makers are making it look like social service 🤢

Agreed!

If at all they had to do social work why not sponsor a child.

Even I have sponsored a child's yearly education and meals at school run by an NGO in our locality. Her parents work at a brick kiln and I convinced them to let her study and she should work only when she has grown up and is well educated.

I really like her, but I never thought of bringing her home as a daughter simply because I never had the feelings of a mother for her or wanted her to be a part of my family.

Adopting a child involves bringing him/her to your home for starts, making him/her a part of your culture/rituals and everything else which can be shared only with someone with whom you have a close bond.

That is why many couples prefer spending time with many kids in orphanages before chosing one whom they want to bring in as their own family member.

When Shekhars brought in the infant Shiv, they were not doing him a favour or social service, they brought him for their own sake, to have a son, immediate reason being to cover up for Ira's loss, but on the long run, a kid who will take the place of the child they lost in the family.

Jagya is a father to Mannu not just because he is Ganga's husband, but he has a fatherly connect with him too, much before JaGan happened.

So I was pretty sure Jagya could become a good father to Mannu if something other than JaGan marriage (I don't know what 😆) would have happened.

I hope AnSh, especially Anandi finally adopts a girl whom she can think of as her own daughter and love her like that and not just some way to payback the "favours" that Shekhars supposedly granted to Shiv by adopting him.

If something as serious as this is done just to do a favour, this will definitely lead to complications later when the kid will be asked to sacrifice something or the other in return for the "favour" AnSh did to her.

One reason why I think anandi should adopt baby is - she'll have a ready made baby right from day 1 to take all her attention. Anandi will have less time for lectures and she might not have time at all for designing sanchi's life and J's (sometimes) life which she had been doing religiously for quite some time now. But all this can happen only if the directors wish to show something practical. I feel what Johnny Depp said about babies is right-that they are miniature drunks 🤣
