I feel like singing this to both Pramad and Danny, the two love-struck fools in this episode. The CVs are putting in overtime with all these twists and drama, but unlike the Kumud's sasural track, I'm actually enjoying these twists! However, I realized one thing during this episode. SC is truly the story of a mukammal mohabbat ki adhuri dastaan. The mukammal mohabbat in question is Saras and Kumud's. Their love story is the only one in this show which can be considered "mukammal." The rest of these characters are just suffering from infatuation - they've seen first-hand via Samud how beautiful love can be, and they want to experience it too!
Kusum: The less said the better. She is infatuated with Saras, a little too impressed with his dolay sholay (that shirt-changing scene 😕), and too busy wallowing in her so called Meera-like devotion to understand what's happening around her.
Danny: Apparently, he seems to like Kusum. It's definitely too early to call what he feels "love" but he's getting there, slowly but surely. I have a feeling that the end game is going to be Danny-Kumari though - when Kumari told Danny to come with her, he left Kusum and followed her. Foreshadowing? Let's see.
Pramad: Jesus, the day I've been waiting for since the Pramad track first started has finally come! He's fallen for Kumud. Or has he? Does he love her? I think not. He's lost everything, his family, his so called bachpan ka pyaar, and now his wife. He doesn't love her, he's simply realizing what he's lost by leaving her. That fact that his arch-nemesis Naveen urf Saraswatichandra has her is just a double blow. He's not in love, he's just a sore loser!
