Maybe the purpose of Zoya going to SM, for however a short amount of time, is to justify any FBs regarding her possible discoveries about her Abbu.

But then that would make Zoya's mom a negative character because Gaffur knew Zoya was in an orphanage after the fire.

I also asked myself why the writers would add that line "just like that...im just joking" to Zoya's comment about how they have some deep rooted connection. Are they trying to tell us that Zoya is speculating something?? Either way, its sure its foreshadowing something big to come.

I will comment in zoya reaction as mom being alive is far fetched IMO. My thing is Zoya found out something in SM and now she is trying to join the dots.
