Kabir and party set out for home and Manyata's parents were full of praise for Tanya on the way. Usually chirpy Taani was quiet and Kabir was surprised at it.

"Tanya..You have been a very good friend to me in last few days..Thank you so much" he said.

"I didn't do this to impress anyone Kabir..i did this because-"

"Kabir..i made your favorite Kadhi-chawal for lunch today..Finally my son is home" Komal said abruptly cutting her.

They were in Tanya's car and she stopped for another vehicle to pass. A man was crossing the street from the other side and Kabir's eyes lit up in recognition. He was the same!

In an instant Kabir was out of the car and had the man in a firm grip by his neck. He tried to escape in vain but Kabir was stronger.

"YOU CHEAT! Who are you? Why did you deceive me? WHO IS BEHIND THIS? COME ON SPEAK UP!!" Kabir thundered.

"I..i don't have anything against you..Please let me go"

"You won't spill here..I'll take you to police station..Come" Kabir tried to drag him.

"I was paid to give those papers to you..Mr.Udayveer is the one behind this..Take him to police, not me" he squeaked trying to get free.

Kabir was so astonished that his grip on the man loosened and he ran for his life.

Manyata's so called husband had done this? he should inform her immediately..no wait..what if she already knew about it and was willingly backing him..NO NEVER..Yeah she had refused to come back with him but she would never support a bad thing..Maybe this was the key! Yes..if she is informed about Udayveer's black deeds she would leave him and come back home..and maybe Kabir and Manyata still have a chance..

He went back to the car and asked Tanya for her phone. She gave it to him without a word. He dialed Manyata's number and she picked up after a long wait.

"Manyata..please listen carefully ok..don't interrupt and don't cut the call" he said after her surprised hello'.

"Manu..Manyata, I was in Jail two days for a crime I didn't do..-he heard her gasp-..and do you know who was responsible..its Udayveer..he appointed a person just to cheat me, frame me in a case..and it's the truth..in case you don't believe me, I have proof..please come back..come back to your home..that guy will destroy your life..he is a bad person..please don't fall for his charm..and he took you outstation just so that you remain in dark about what happened here..trust me Manyata he is playing with you.." he couldn't continue more.

There was some problem with the network and the call got disconnected. Kabir banged his hand on the passenger door in frustration.

The hurt, the raw pain on her face made Udayveer squirm. What did the caller say? Why is she acting so strange?

"who was that Manyata? What did they tell you? Why would I play with your emotions? Of course I wasn't faking our friendship..i really want us to be good friends" the feeling in his eyes could still soften her but she ignored it.

"I asked you ten times but yet you didn't tell me why you brought me here..what did you get by falsely entrapping Kabir in a cheating case? Don't tell me you don't know about it..because Kabir would never lie to me..he is not a cheat like you..i hate you..im sick of you..friends..huh! I don't want any sort of relationship with you..i was thinking may be you were changing but.."

As Manyata went on speaking or rather shouting, Udayveer realized there was no way he could convince her. She was so blinded in anger that she didn't notice the surprised, amused expression on his face change to something else.

One powerful instinct could be toppled by another right? The carnal hunger rose in his gut. He could see nothing except her, hear nothing except her words which was music to his ears.

He moved incredibly fast and tore through her mouth to find her tongue, shutting her up. She tasted kind of nutty. Her unwilling mouth and taut body encouraged him to do more. But she freed herself and yelled back at him "you cheat!..I!-"

"hush.." he started again. Manyata was feeling like a moth trapped alive in a glowing flame. His mouth on hers was making her feel giddy and it was seconds before she lost her will. When he pulled back after a minute for breath, her face was red and she wanted more!

Her rational mind could go jump from the cliff.. She forgot what she was so pissed about earlier. He searched her eyes and found her Consent. His hand was on her waist and he fell back on the bed slowly with holding her above him. Their eyes remained locked throughout and their too willing bodies enfolded each other like vines growing on a tree. He filled her body with gentle yet firm kisses and she gave herself to him.

He seemed reluctant to go further but the sheer invitation her eyes were sending out to him was his doom and he explored her. Manyata knew that somewhere something was wrong..she shouldn't be doing this..But the need inside her was so huge that it elbowed out all other feelings and dominated her mind. She bid good bye to the last speck of refusal and dived in. it was so painful yet so sweet..so small yet so huge. Udayveer was everywhere, her mind, her body..she felt so complete like never before..is this what they called love? Her brain was repeating one name..Udayveer..Udayveer.. as she caressed his wonderful face.

Udayveer had intiated it only to stop Manyata's tirade but now he was glad he did. Otherwise how would he go through this pure pleasure which could only be found in another human beings arms..she felt so tiny under him..yet his heart filled with contentment whenever she looked at him with those little scared, little apprehensive eyes.
