With Pramad dead troubles will rise from his ashes for Saras and Kumud. But I feel like now, since Saras knows the truth, he will try his best to get the divorce processed as early as possible before Pramad dies!
It could go in the other direction with Kumud becoming a widow and the society discouraging her to move on and live her life with Saras. Maybe Kusum's marriage proposal backfires again and Kalika suggests about Saras-Kusum wedding given the opportunity to ruin Kumud's life. However, Saras will take Kumud and marry her in a temple with Dukhba's permission and support.
In any case, Saras and Kumud got a second chance which they didn't have in the original story of the novel. So relax, they won't separate this time.
