Rajat and Paridhi are capable of delivering AMAZING chemistry...but, there's no passion in the scenes these days...this exact discussion is going on in Mansi's thread - the last three pages..

When Jalal removed that veil from Jodha's face after the sword fight..when he touched her hand after that arthi..when he pulled her close to him after that shaahi farmaan...when he stopped that knife in that tent (1st night) there was so much of sizzling passion in his eyes and silent defiance in hers!

Even the ooh aah scene was only comical and all Ameri scenes either cordial/friendly or tu-tu-main-main! The 'chemistry' bit is missing...in the earlier scenes when he held her hands, there was ''. In Sukanya's wedding when he held her hand, she was busy mentally abusing him all through!

Nowadays its only long lectures...or over-friendly talks

Where's the bit where 'Wow you're beautiful...I need to keep a check on myself...maybe a cold shower will help!' bit?

Where's her 'Shehenshah stop looking at me like that..I might be nervous...but I'm not going to show it to you' bit?

Come on, if a handsome guy stands like that ...in front of you...alone... for the first time...at night...a guy you KNOW has a right over you... even the 21st century party types will get a bit flustered!

As for the Vachan bit - sometimes, its the presence of these very Vachans or LOCs that heighten the tension - ...like how you're not supposed to eat chocolates while dieting and thats the ONLY thing at the back of your mind..like how you're not supposed to think of watching movies/gaming while studying for exams but that's the only thing in your mind while studying..

Similarly, even if Jo and Ja have accepted a Vachan...there should be some 'dhak dhak' when they're near each other purely BECAUSE there's that Vachan. But, that 'tension' is missing here like they've become some 50 year old platonic friends or something! Obviously, this logic flies out the window if two people are not attracted to each other on any level - but, I thought the point was that Jalal was attracted to her and she was unnerved by him - perfect concoction for the afore-mentioned tension!😕

During their wedding and after - he was nothing short of a predator then - as Vicky calls him...

Look at my signature - the scene when he comes into her tent - the way he's on top of her stopping that knife..and best part - that was the time she hated him most - yet her behaviour then seemed so much more regal/better/made more sense! She didn't show any fear (except in her eyes) while he was so close almost on top of her!

Fine, I don't want him like that always...but I don't want this guy to become Krishna-Bhakt Meera style payal-bhajan-prasad eating types like what he's become now too 😆

Instead of getting hormonal on watching him, Jo maiyya -like a dry sponge- has drained off Jalal's otherwise healthy presence of hormones too!
