EPISODE ONE:

Young officers arrive at the Commando School. Old friends meet. Abhimanyu Rai (Shahrukh Khan) is one of them. The General gives a pep talk. Major Narayanan (A Kanan) gets tough. A 2-mile race brings buddies closer. Vikram Rai (Rakesh Sharma) beats up the three of them and Abhi confesses Vikram is his elder brother.

EPISODE TWO

In a flash back, the brothers quarrel. Father deliberately loses a chess match so that Abhi can also join the army. Kiran the General's daughter interviews Vikram while during a parachute landing show. Madhu the doctor falls into Abhi's lap.

EPISODE THREE

Abhi brings flowers for Madhu but hands them over to Mrs. Basu, whose husband screams in anger. Vikram punishes them for indiscipline during training. Umesh, the civilian newspaper chief teases Vikram. Abhi and Madhu come closer on the dance floor as Cynthia makes a surprise visit. Peter faints.

EPISODE FOUR

Cynthia is smuggled into the bachelor quarters. Abhi calls on Madhu. Vikram recalls the horror of war during training. He relates the incident in a flash back to Kiran, of how he, as an engineer officer, accompanied an infantry unit in a surprise raid on an enemy bridge where a severe fight was in progress. In the fight Kalyan Singh had sacrificed his life for saving Vikram. Vikram breaks down.

EPISODE FIVE

The flash back continues as Vikram visits Kalyan Singh's parents and the young widow and returns completely shaken. Vikram decides against getting married. Major Narayanan grills Peter and Dev about Cynthia. Peter is dismissed from the course. Kishore the soldier has a serious altercation with Parvati's father, asking for her hand.

EPISODE SIX

At the club the friends miss Peter. Major Narayanan cheers Dev. Vikram is a terror at the training…. orders Abhi to stand under the Sun until further instructions. Vikram rushes to the training ground. Abhi has somehow managed to bear the punishment. Vikram orders him to stand at ease and Abhi collapses in Madhu's lap.
