11-11 The Grand Beginning !

Based on a laudable novel , Mittal's show , Iqbal Khan's comeback , a great star cast - the factors are enough to escalate anyone's expectations . Therefore my write-up might seem bit *tight*

Tumhaari Pakhi

The title itself emits the aura of unwonted & unrequited love & of course the simplicity . It is commendable how the lead Anshuman was introduced , very novel . However the the preamble was very average in my opinion bearing in mind my high anticipation. The first part looked stodgy & press conference scene failed to look real. Which mother would insult someone in public with whom she desperately wants to hook up her daughter.
Ignoring some of the obvious errors , I liked how Anshuman's character is carved. He is so real and human! Thank god for that he doesn't belong to the usual utopian world showcased in indian dailies. He is selfish mean & real!

For me the episode started in Rajasthan! No I'm not being biased but Aaja Dhola had something! The song the lyrics the choreography the picturization the cinematography the vocals..it was superlative! How gorgeous Shraddha Arya looks man

The sunbeam scene was so ethereal. Shraddha & Iqbal make such a fine couple!

Definitely beautiful beginning.

Nice analysis Shubhi...It was an interesting episode...Agree with you about press conference not being credible enough. Guess they wanted to trigger Anshuman into searching for his childhood bride from first episode itself,so the haste...Still some intersting touches in the episode...It was surprising to know that Anshuman had a wife besides Paankhi,and she is no more...And from the looks of it Anshuman has moved on from the loss(if it was one),and has calculated his next move already i.e. marrying the daughter of a rich businessman. Anshuman seems completely consumed with keeping up his image and reputation...As his Jiju points out,he lives for appreciation and praise...Public image means a LOT to him...So far he looks completely practical,focussed,a bit selfish and in love with power and fame.
I am happy with the characterization of Paakhi...She is a village girl but not overly naive...She is independent,smart,carries herself well,speaks english,knows internet...I like that she in in sync with the modern time even when belonging to village.
Cinematography was good...The song was nice...Shraddha looked very pretty and is endearing...And it is good to finally see Iqbal Khan in a full fledged role as a lead after so long...He is an actor with very powerful screen presence and can pull off slightly grey shades with elan...So casting seems to be really nice...Let see how they shape up the future episodes.

okay so yah i agree with all u said..exactly he is a real man from the real world ..even Pakhi here is educated 👍🏼 it gives us a fresh feel all in all 😃
the song is so beautiful & just the first line strikes u the essence of the show.. this girl is so GRACEFUL & DROP DEAD GORGEOUS <3

Well done Shubhika... yes if I have to describe the first in one word it would just be "Graaanddd" 👏 the whole episode was shot superbly!!!! The Rock climbing scene was superb and I actually couldn't even blink my eye while watching it...Iqbal looked sooo handsome in the tuxedo Mashallah...Anshuman is a winner, a go-getter who outdoes himself each time, he is mean, he is selfish but the best part abt Anshuman Rathod is he is so real... ajaa dhola song was breathtaking... Shraddha looked beautiful n yes the sunbeam scene too was picturized beautifully... its going to be very interesting to watch the image conscious Anshuman n the sweet optimiistic Paakhi cross each other's path... hats off to the team for presenting a beautiful lovestory... its gonna be a treat to watch Iqbal n Shraddha together

The show got me hooked entirely

It seemed rushed to have him search for her since first episode itself but I suppose that is what starts the story. It would have been better, IMO, to show some background first. Like Anshuman's daily life. Paakhi's daily life.

I give 4⭐️/5
