DJ's Creative is all set to come out with a brand new show, Jhume Jiye Re, catering specifically to the youth. The production house that has made hit serials like Left Right Left and Jeete Hain Jiske Liye will air its new project this April after the Cricket World Cup fever fades.
Deeya Singh, of DJ's Creative says, "It deals with a young person's world- the generation next. After Left Right Left and Banengi Apni Baat and Just Mohabbat, this is our new take on the youth. The production house is sticking by its old formula of using newcomers for the new show."
"All the young people on the show are new and fresh and that's how we always do it. The thing about working with newcomers is that you can mould them the way you want", Singh said.
"When asked about how she manages to pick out the stars from the thousands of people who must be auditioning for the roles Deeya said, "We have a very intense process of selection. There are several auditions. First we call them, we chat with them and we see if they're on the same wavelength. They must be willing to work their butts off!
"They have to be willing to learn and most of all they must be open and down to earth. It's important to have a clean slate with no hang ups. So far we've always been lucky with new people. Mona Singh is one great example. It's never an easy process singling them out but in the end the results are great", Deeya signs off.
The show, which will be aired on a new channel Zeenext, is about a young girl who wants more out of life than her present situation. She knows she can make her life better and finds out her true calling is dance. It is the story of how she adjusts to a new situation and environment and strives to prove herself to her family to fulfill her ambition.
