Arjun Rampal lights up the Divali Nite
An elegant entry in a metalised Sedan. The star of the show is acclaimed: the popular and spirited Arjun Rampal has made the trip from Bollywood to celebrate Divali at the Anjalay Stadium in Belle-Vue. It was Saturday night, during the National Divali Nite co-organised by the Ministries of Arts and Culture, and Tourism.
To appreciate the performance of the actor and model, the public had to wait up to 11pm. A guitar solo, deep voice, the charm worked on a public not as numerous as expected. The stadium was barely half full.
At the second performance of the actor, the mike could not stand alone (🤣). A small girl from the public held the mike for Arjun Rampal during his performance.
The defective mike reflected the organisation of the concert: anything goes. If the noble intention of offering a joyful entertainment to the public - free and accessible on top of that - was obvious, in reality, the sound system was mediocre. Hats off, however, to the presence of Mohnish Bahl (I'm sure they meant Manish Paul coz I did not hear of Mohnish Bahl coming 😆), the host of the night, who did everything to make it enjoyable.
