Arranged Marriage For Shahid

The buzz is that Shahid Kapoor's family is on the lookout for a suitable bride

Shahid Kapoor has been pretty unlucky in love so far. His ex girlfriends like Kareena Kapoor and alleged link-up Vidya Balan are both happily married while Priyanka Chopra too has moved on. Though it seemed that Priyanka and Shahid were getting back together recently after they were seen partying and spending time together, nothing much came out of it.

It seems Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid's dad is worried about the lack of love in Shahid's love and has decided to take matters into his own hands. Tabloid reports say Pankaj has been making frequent trips to Punjab, apparently looking for the right girl for Sasha! A family friend from Punjab has been quoted in a leading newspaper as saying, "Pankaj is really concerned. He is keen to find Shahid a nice homely girl and wants to see him settled within a year." Pankaj, however has denied the story and simply says that he's been visiting Punjab for other reasons!

The question is: will a teen heart throb like Shahid settle for an arranged marriage? The same family friend insists that this is possible too. "It could be a match picked by his father since he trusts his father's judgement more than anybody else's."
