Saif ready to kick butt

Saif Ali Khan A week after he checked into Lilavati hospital with chest pains, Saif Ali Khan is safely back home and recuperating. Sharmila Tagore, who rushed to Mumbai after hearing about her son's sudden illness, is presently by his side and is relived that the Chote Nawab is finally back home. Needless to say, she is keeping a strict vigil on Saif. How's Saif now? He's absolutely fine and 100 per cent fit. Saif has realised that he was unwell, but he's taking it in his stride. Is he following any diet? Yes, he has to follow medical advice as far as food and medication is concerned. The most important thing the doctors have told him is no smoking at all. He needs a little rest for a while, but he can start exercising soon — not heavy stuff like lifting weights, but he can go walking, stretching, etc. Any other restrictions? The doctors have told Saif that he can do everything, but has to stop smoking completely. Now, he is not smoking at all. t could have been worse. Had it not been for the doctors' timely intervention and ad-ministering of proper medicines, it could've been really serious. So we are not taking it lightly. It wasn't a stomach pain but a chest pain which was controlled by medicines before he reached the hospital. They gave him some medicines in the ambulance and that also helped. The doctors were very good and the medicines averted something that could've been far worse. When will Saif resume work? Though the doctors have said he can resume work immediately, I don't think he will be able to do so for a couple of weeks atleast. Saif has his ad films and does only one film at a time, so it's only the South Africa schedule of Abbas-Mustan's Race that has been postponed. But Saif will recover soon and shoot for it shortly. Currently, they are rescheduling the dates. Will you be staying with Saif for some time? No, I don't need to do that. He has resumed control of his life and is able to look after himself. Saif doesn't need a nurse. Currently, I am with him as there are some restrictions as far as food and medicines is concerned and that everything is taken on time. I will be going back after my grandson Ebrahim's sixth birthday (March 5). I have work to do at our ancestral home in Bhopal, and my mother-in-law is there too. My husband left on Sunday as he had work to do back home.

Saif quits smoking


Barely a week after he was discharged from Leelavati Hospital where he was treated for a blood clot in his artery, Saif Ali Khan has quit smoking cigarettes. "I'll have too take things easy for a while. Nothing strenuous and certainly no smoking anymore. It's been a time of revelation for me. Though I came out unscathed, the hospital experience served up a healthy warning to me." He said.

Saif- RoSa Split!

Saif Ali Khan, one of finest actors in bollywood, has split with his girlfriend Rosa after two years of staying together in the same house. Their relationship has been in trouble for quite some time as was evident by frequent rumors of fight between them. Rosa has now returned to her home in Luzern, Switzerland leaving a recuperating Saif Ali Khan on his own.

As Saif informs, ' Rosa and I have decided to part ways. Yes, she has gone back home. That is the gist of all I want to say at the moment. I can not pretend that Rosa's going has not added to recent setbacks. But it's for the best, I guess.'

According to sources, Rosa, the European girlfriend of Saif, left India a few days back in an effort to forget about the moments she had spent with the bollywood actor and after getting herself composed from the split she would return to Mumbai to pursue her bollywood dreams independent of Saif Ali Khan.

It may be recalled that recently Saif had some trouble due to exhaustion and doctors advised him complete rest for the whole of March. His all schedules of shooting have been put on hold till the time he gets completely fit. According to well informed sources, he will start going to gym for exercise from the beginning of next month and if everything goes according to plan, the shooting for films will start sometime in the last of April.

Earlier, Saif Ali Khan had divorced Amrita Singh to get free to lead his life according to his wishes. He has two children from his marriage with Amrita Singh. Grapevine had it at that time that sooner or later he is going to marry Rosa. But the ways of romance are strange and Saif has become once again single!

Amrita Furious!

Amrita Singh, former bollywood actress and ex-wife of Saif Ali Khan, is furious about the talks going on in certain circles that her renewed friendship with her former husband was responsible for the split between Rosa and Saif. As Amrita says, ' Saif is my past. What he does is not my business or concern. I have said what I have to. Now please keep me out of this.'

According to sources Amrita Singh has not bothered to visit Saif at home since the time he was discharged from the hospital after being admitted for some trouble arising out of exhaustion and stress. Although it is also true that she had visited him at the hospital with their children Sara and Ebrahim and they have kept in touch with each other. But stories of getting together again is far fetched a flight of imagination and nothing else.

Presently, Saif is totally focused on his career which is going great guns with his Omkara and Hum Tum turning out major hits. He won several awards for his negative character of Langda in Omkara and has even launched a film company Illuminati Films in partnership with Dinesh Vijan. As such he is left with little time to think about his personal life.

Rosa Catalano and Saif are mature and grown up individuals and their parting of ways was amicable and no one else should be blamed for this. They have different priorities in life and so they opted for different routes to their respective destinations. As they were living together for more than two years, it will naturally take time to get back to their normal self. Rosa is expected to return to India in a few weeks time to anchor a fashion- based television show.

Meanwhile, Kunal Kohli, who had directed Saif in Hum Tum, has become the first person to sign Saif for his home production after his split with Rosa. Kunal Kohli had visited Saif in Lilavati and was in touch with him on this issue since then. The shooting for Saif's another film with Yashraj is already complete while for Abbas Mustan's Race it's going on.
