i want to thank everyone for attending asad and zoyas walimah .. please remember them in your duas and pray for their happiness to last forever ... dilshaad ended her speech and led the guest outside to the garden to enjoy the buffet of food ..

asad watched zoya as she talked to noora and her parents who had arrived just in time for the walima , noora introduced her parents to asad - who they dont really like for some unknown reason and noora dropped a huge bomb on them , she would be getting married soon to her college friend from mumbai ! noora was happy with this as he was her parents choice and he was definitely her type who wouldnt mind her working after marriage so she readily agreed , zoya was happy for her as well , and she felt asads gaze on her , he was cold to her as usual but she had an uneasy feeling like he was planning something big , and he planned to use ayaan as well , who was standing with humeira in one corner of the room talking to some relatives , it was no doubt they both were uncomfortable in this enviroment , ayaan had only attended bcoz humaira insisted but he knew asad was angry with him and he was afraid to meet asads eyes bcoz of the guilt !

all the guest had poured out to the garden , noora was dragging zoya outside but her head was paining so she made up an excuse of needing to use the bathroom and she escaped to the room for a 5 min break from the guests .. so noora being her cheerful self left zoya alone and went to grab humeira and before she left she turned to ayaan and said , go and meet your brother ayaan , ill be outside .. ayaan watched as humaira left and he turned to meet asad who was ushering the last few guests outside ..

asad , can we talk ?- ayaan asked

and asad smild his cold smirk smile , what a co incidence ! i was just going to ask the same from you ayaan ! so tell me ayaan , my little brother ! what do you want ?

ayaan was taken aback by asads hateful voice , .. i just wanted to wish you and zoya a happy married life and apologise as well - i know we cant forget these 2 years but i hope we can move on and forget it ..

MOVE ON ! asad almost shouted and at the same time zoya walked out of the room and she stopped in her tracks - a fear growing in her seeing asad and ayaan together - she turned to leave but a hand grabbed her and she was being pulled by asad ! he walked all the way back to ayaan and pushed her on ayaan !

wow ! asad started , you want me to move on with your hand me down ayaan ? i will tell you the same thing i told zoya , my only purpose for living is to hate zoya ! and he laughed as ayaan stood silently and tears rolled down zoyas eyes ..

both of you betrayed me ! zoya was supposed to be mine and you left me with no explnaion ! truthfully i dont want zoya ! i just married her to make ammi happy but ayaan , since she chose you 1st , feel free to come and use her any time and before he could continue a voice shouted ,

ASAD , HOW CAN YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR WIFE SO RUDELY ? dilshaad screamed !

zoya couldnt handle it anymore , and she ran to the room and locked herself inside !

ayaan stood in shock - obviously his brother had a right to be angry with him but he never expected so much hatred for zoya - if anyone then asad should be more angry at him as he couldnt look after zoya properly !

ayaan walked up to asad and said , bhaijaan i think you need to get the truth from zoya but i can promise you one thing ! in the one year that i was married to zoya - she never let me touch her or come close to her ! we always slept in separate beds , bhaijaan whatever happened between zoya and i was more a deal than a marriage and zoya was ready to return to you that day but even i dont know why she stayed ! i just know she asked me to go on with this fake marriage as a way of protecting you and that you could never know our secret , but bhaijaan she doesnt derserve this hate - this is why im telling you ! zoya is an untouched woman - i promise you !

asad stood like a statue trying to process what ayaan had just told him - and a million questions ran through his mind ! was it true ? was this another trick that ayaan was playing on him ! asad fell on the chair and dilshaad who was listening to all this came an touched asads shoulder ,and she turned to ayaan - thank you ayaan for speaking the truth but i think i need to speak to asad alone - i am the only one who can answer his questions and she touched ayaans cheek and motioned with her eyes for him to leave -

ayaan left and dilshaad knelt on her knees and held her sons hand ! asad i know you are confused right now .. but everything ayaan told you is true ! zoya and him were never true husband and wife !

asad looked to dilshaad - ammi you knew and didnt tell me ! how ?

no beta - i just found out the night before your nikaah ! zoya came and told me everything ..

flashback

phupi - zoya knocked on the door and walked in the room - i need to talk to you !

of course come in zoya and she came and hugged zoya - im soo happy you are marrying asad ! buts whats wrong zoya ? you look disturbed !

i am phupi ! im very worried ! and i cant hide it any longer ! asad said he wants to put the past behind us but i need to tell the truth to you phupi ! i need to tell you why i chose ayaan !

zoya , i dont need to know ! asad and i are accepting for who you r ! your past doesnt matter to us !

but it does matter to me ! especially since im the daughter of the man who took raashid abbu from you ! my father is gaffur siddique ! and i am ashamed of him phupi ! and zoya narrated to dilshaad the moment ayaan asked her to stay and how she refused and she left the room to clear her head and she met badi b who told her to think again before she left the house - she told phupi how badi b was emotionally balckmailing her to try and make her stay but zoya kept firm on returning to asad and then badi b revealed to zoya that zoyas father was none other than gaffur ! and badi b asked to stay with ayaan and she will also b close to her father ! but at that moment zoya realised that more than being close to her father she wanted to return to asad so she refused and told badi b asad was more important to her and she left to pack the rest of her stuff !

zoya ! dilshaad was in shock - but if you refused badi b then how did you end up staying there !

phupi i stayed there to protect asad ! i was returning back to my room and i decide to walk past gaffur siddiques room just to look at him as my father and i heard him talking to razia about me ! phupi he knew i was his daughter ! he always knew ! and then i heard him say , dont worry razia , once zoya divorces ayaan - all zoyas trust fund money from her mother will become mine ! and once i have all this money i will have enough money to buy out asad ahmed khans customers ! and he wont even see it coming !

and thats when i realised i couldnt back out of the marriage phupi ! and i knew if i told asad he would go crazy on that family !and i was scared he would hate me more after knowing who my father was ! i got straight on the phone with a lawyer and he told me that till i was 25 my father had full right on my trust fund and thats why i stayed with ayaan for one year - it was all to protect asad !

asad sat in shock as ammi narrated this whole incident to him ! and he felt this rage build up again in him - all he could think was murder ! he wanted to go to that house and burn everyone ! dilshaad calmed him down ! asad we have to cut them out of our lives .. you cant focus on them - zoya did all this to protect you !

but why ammi - why did she have to do this all alone ? why couldnt she come to me ? asad rubbed his forehead !

asad - i know you want answers but its time you move on ! and im sure zoya will give them to you as time goes on ! but now you know the truth , let go of the hate and focus on zoya ! i know under all that hate , you still love her !

no way ammi ! zoya and i are past love ! i cant love her like i did before ! its over between us ! i stopped loving zoya the day she left !

really asad ? is that why your best friend noora is a carbon copy of your old zoya ! the dressing , the cheerfulness and bright smile ! in two years you have driven everyone away but managed to bcum bestfriends with noora ! do you know why that is asad ! its bcoz you saw zoya in her ! you never stopped loving zoya and you never will asad ! bcoz no matter how much you try to show this hate ! i am your mother and i know you ! you are still in love with zoya !

ammi words played in asads mind and he wanted to refuse it , but was it true ? could he still love zoya ! he knew from yesterday , the attraction was still there ! but love ? and then ammi said ,

maybe you are right asad ! maybe you cant love zoya anymore bcoz your old zoya is dead !

asad turned sharply to his ammi and asked dead ? what do you mean ?

ammi turned away from him and her voiced turned sombre , asad while hating zoya you havent noticed she isnt your zoya anymore ! living in Siddique mansion has destroyed her ! she never smiles , never fights with anyone , even you ! has she tried arguing baack at you even once asad ! she is gone weak asad - i have to force her to eat ! she has lost the love for life and living asad ! even her dressing has changed from jeans to salwaar ! does it matter to you asad ! do you still care asad !

and dilshaad walked away leaving asad to ponder over what ammi had said ! and he realised she was right ! zoya had changed , but he still loved her ! he could feel it in himm ! underneath all that hate there was a part of him that never stopped loving her ! and that part of him wanted to fight for her ! he wanted his old zoya back and he was going to make sure his bubbly jeans clad zoya was going to return !

zoya sat in the room , deeply hurt by what asad had said about her to ayaan .. she couldnt take it anymore ! and she heard the room door opening and asad walked up to her and said zoya , ! but before he could talk zoya interrupted and said ! im glad you had fun with me mr khan ! but you know what mr khan , i wish i never ever came to india ! i wish i never met you and your family ! i wish i could go back to my old life in new york !
