Clear my confusion: Why aapi was getn Zoya married widoout asking her? - Page 2

^ din i say its just a reflection of many family.. aapi's character isnt extended to know whether she is actually modern or narrow minded.. she stays in US doesnt mean she is actually modern cz brain process what we are seeing traditionally... even if people of this sub continent live in different parts of world but they value and holds tradition well... i wont be wrong to say actually most parents fix hirls marriage without their consent.. some might disagree but its the reality... when girls grow up.. first thing comes to parents mind is their marriage.. aapi isnt exception

also one point why she doesnt want Zoya know her past is... Zoya went into mental shock after the fire accident when she was child and it took years to recover from this.. but her pasts still haunts her via nightmare... Appi knows the truth is really worst and if Zoya gets to the root of the truth.. this might give Zoya mental shock and she mightnt recover from this again... Aapi doesnt want to loose Zoya once again.. so aapi wanted zoya to get married so that she doesnt go searching for truth as that will ultimately harm her.. so its not aapi's fault either.. she doesnt want another big trauma happening to Zoys.. thats why she wanted zoya getting married somehow convincing zoya.. but zoya being Zoya.. she wants to know the truth.. thats why she ran away from her wedding.. staying in India alone.. though aapi wanted to take her along after her marriage broke up... Zoya was convinced that her dad died and convinced herself thats why he din go to bring her.. but when the truth will come in her front about the cheating and the ugly truth... its gonna be difficult for Zoya to hold herself... we can see various emotion on zoya after truth... i am eagerly waiting for that.. thats why i like Zoya so much <3
