Terence Lewis has trained extensively in Indian and western dance disciplines, both in India and abroad and is based in his favorite, chaotic city of dreams- Mumbai. Having mastered the fine art of Choreology and studying classical as well as contemporary dance techniques, both in Indian and western disciplines, under several masters, in the US, Europe and India, he established the TL Inc- the Terence Lewis Incorporate, (that houses his Contemporary Dance Company, his Academy and his Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust) to great success.

Terence Lewis at Glance

Achievements

-The first Indian to have received the prestigious Dance WEB Scholarship- to learn Contemporary dance (in his student years) at the Impulstanz one of the largest international dance festivals in the world, held in Vienna, Austria.

-The first Indian to be a member of the UNESCO- Conseil General de la Danse

-The first choreographer to introduce 'Contemporary Dance' to the Indian audiences at large, through the medium of television and Dance India Dance and thus, revolutionizing the lay Indian mindset with regards to Dance, having brought a great respectability to the Dancing profession and bringing about the realisation for the need for serious dance training in our country.

-Terence Lewis has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for conducting the largest Bollywood Dance Class in the world and the largest Indo- Contemporary Dance, held in our very own Mumbai, India!
