Chapter 58
Around 10 am they headed back home and saw Jeevika's mom cooking in the kitchen.
v - "Is Jeevika still asleep?"
j mom - "Yeah, I tried waking her up but she wouldn't"
v - "I'll go get her" he said walking towards her room.
Jeevika was fast asleep and looked so stress-free. Viren sat down on the bed and placed his hand on her head. She didn't wake up, in fact she got more comfortable and smiled a bit more. Viren then lay down himself engulfing his wife in his arms with a big hug. She still didn't wake up after that. Then he kissed her cheek and saw her smile more, meaning she was aware of her surroundings but wanted to sleep.
v - "Goodmorning Jeevs"
Jeevika slightly opened her eyes and looked at him. He looked awfully cute for this early in the morning.
v - "When do you plan on getting up?"
j - "Not now"
v - "Why not?"
j - "I'm sleepy Viren"
v - "But we have a long day ahead"
j - "Cancel everything. I'm staying in bed all day" she said turning her face around.
v - "Oh hello, stop ignoring your husband"
j - "Viren go to hell. Let me sleep"
v - "If you get up, I'll take you for a date"
j - "You're already taking me to Goa tomorrow. Spare me the date"
v - "Uhmm if you get up, I'll take you out for lunch"
j - "Its okay I'll order something home"
v - "Jeevika you're impossible"
j - "Thanks now let me sleep"
v - "How about if you don't wake up, I will tickle you?"
j - "Viren get lost"
v - "I'm giving you till the count of five. If you don't get up, then get ready"
j - "Viren go away now"
v - "One...Two..."
j - "I will hurt you if you don't leave me"
v - "Three...Four..."
Jeevika sat up in helplessness and gave him the evilest look she could. He in return kissed her trying to make her smile.
j - "Why can you not sleep in peace and let me sleep in peace as well?"
v - "Honey I've been awake since early this morning"
j - "Why? What were you doing?"
v - "Because I just woke up. I went for a walk"
j - "Funny. Why would you go for a walk. Stop being an oldie"
v - "Whats wrong with going for a walk? I went with your dad"
j - "Okay good for you. Now let me go get ready then lets go. And you're taking me for a lunch date now since I woke up"
v - "But remember I'm taking you to Goa. So then no lunch date. I'm going to spare you from going on a date with me"
j - "Rude! Okay go out, I'm coming outside in twenty minutes"
v - "Why should I go out?"
j - "Because I need to shower and get ready"
v - "So I can stay. I have the license to stay you know?"
j - "Where is it? Show me please?"
v - "Actually our marriage certificate is at home in my office. Sorry don't have access to it now"
j - "I thought so now leave"
v - "Jeez. Someone is very cranky in the mornings"
j - "Just figured?"
v - "I haven't had a shower either. I'll join you"
j - "Viren Vadhera have you lost your senses. We are at my parent's home, not alone somewhere by ourselves. Get lost"
v - "Gosh learn to take a joke. But just wait till Goa. Then I'll see how you go to the bathroom without me" he smirked to her
Jeevika rolled her eyes at him and went inside the bathroom. When she came out all ready she saw him asleep on the bed.
j - "I cannot believe him. Woke me up this early, and now has gone to sleep himself. He's gonna pay for this"
Jeevika was thinking what she should do now to wake Viren up. She saw a glass of water on the bedside and picked it up. She wanted to get him bad. As she was walking towards the bed and about to drop the glass, Viren suddenly jerked up and grabbed a hold of Jeevika's waist making her fall right on top of him. The water in the glass fell on the both of them. Jeevika was shocked that Viren was actually awake and just playing with her.
v - "Someone wanted to irritate me huh?"
j - "Yeah, but now look both of us are wet. Jeez Viren you're so annoying sometimes"
v - "Your fault not mine. Who told you to get me wet with water"
j - "Well how dare you sleep or even lay down after waking me up from my sleep"
v - "I was just playing with you" he said kissing her neck as she was still on top of her.
Jeevika got up and took her towel to dry her top off.
j - "No need to get romantic. Now I have to go change my top. Ughhh"
v - "If you're that lazy, I can change it for you? And you can change mine. See I still got wet" he said showing her his t-shirt
j - "Here wear this tshirt" she said getting it out from his bag.
v - "No you help me. Thats your punishment for getting me wet"
j - "Really?"
v - "Yes really" he said smiling bright
Jeevika walked over to Viren who removed his shirt. She saw his six pack abs but avoided drooling over them, knowing her husband and his tactics. She helped him put the white tshirt on and then smiled at him.
j - "Done? Now let me go change"
v - "I can help you"
j - "No no. No need of that. See it was my fault right for getting both you and me wet. So my punishment should be to change you and I'll change myself. Why should I trouble you" she said smartly teasing Viren.
Jeevika went back inside the bathroom and changed fast.
