I didnt like Jagya and ganga taking it for granted that sumitra should take care of Manu.
I mean they really didnt have a game-plan for taking care of Manu on their own.

It's just like they were waiting for sumitra to offer in the pregnant pause after dadisa asked about Manu.

I agree that sumitra is sitting at home, but that doesnt necessarily mean that jagya and ganga should create long-term inconveniences for sumitra.

I wouldnt like it if my kids just assumed that I am a free babysitter. I would like to lead my own life in my old age. (dont have kids, but if I did 😆😆)

I think they would have said they could ask lal singh's wife as she was looking after him when Ganga was working. Sumitra jumped in first to offer so it's fine.

Sumitra herself jumped in to offer where Jagya and Ganga asked her or took her for granted ?😲They were thinking what to do of this and Sumitra said I and Gehna will take care of Mannu Don't you think it would be huge insult of Sumitra if they would have said no mom you leave it ?

In joint families especially conservative families like Singhs, grandparents always take care of their grandchildren. So it was logical for sumi to be babysitter for Mannu. And in rural areas, they hardly do anything to make the home baby proof.

I think that child Anandi and Shiv are going to adopt is Mannu...😉
Anandi must have convinced shiv that her beloved ex-husband needs time for an uninterrupted honeymoon and unending romance with his third wife.

Lal Singh's wife? Lal Singh suggested IVF for Basant Gahna. I think he himself should have gone for IVF. They did not show any child of Lal Singh although he also had had bal-vivah and Jagya would have been father of two children by now if Gauri was not so reckless.

Is it correct for sumitra to be babysitter for Manu?

If it is correct for Sumi to take care of her old MIL, it is correct for her to take care of her toddler grandson too.

Relationships work both the ways. The elders take care of young children. When the children grow up, they take care of elders.

Atleast let sumitra compensate for all the ill treatment she gave to ganga and mannu by taking care of mannu. A kind of prayschit. Repentance?
