Growing Indifferent to Sangram

I was highly disappointed with Sangram today. It was kind of unfair on the part of BB to choose him for the light detector test. But it brought out some unexpected shades of Sangram nevertheless.
I imagined him as one of those nice, simple, humble, honest guys from rural regions. He also kept stressing his neutrality, honesty, and fondness for tranquility which I never doubted. When Gauhar, Kamya, and Pratushya criticized him for not taking a stance, I thought maybe he's just too nice to take a stance so they shouldn't be criticizing him!

Today everything I imagined about him just shattered. Yes everyone is entitled to his opinion. So it's totally fine if he thinks that Pratushya doesn't take her own stance but is totally dependent on Kamya. Like Gauhar, my problem with Sangram was that he completely subverted his statements. Yes opinions do change but they shouldn't subvert over night especially when it is about a person.

So he thought that Gauhar shouldn't have returned to the house after leaving it. How could he make such a strong statement without knowing the details of what exactly happened between her and the organizers of the show? If I don't know anything, then the wise thing would be to refrain from passing a judgment. One more thing, on that day Pratushya and Kamya too packed their bags. So by Sangram's standards, they too should have left the house because they had already taken the decision, nahi? That day I felt for a moment why would they turn back on their decisions after taking such a strong stance but I immediately reminded myself that I know nothing about what BB told them in the confession room so I better shut up and not judge them. It's also fine if he believes Pratushya is not a nice person, but it's not fine for him to sing praises of her on her face and denounce her behind her back.

When you are ultra nice to people despite all your disagreements on their faces and you take a u-turn behind their backs then it's not sweetness but hypocrisy.

I wish Gauhar and Pratushya grow indifferent to Sangram. Don't treat him badly but don't be friends with him either. Suddenly even his apologies have started looking so hollow to me now...

I honestly wish Sangram had maintained his neutrality that he always boasts of during the task...!

Another great post by you Oyster -- its like you pop out of nowhere randomly post a gem and disappear into the woods.

Im starting to feel for Sangram -- I know he kind of put an Axe to his own feet by trying to play goody goody to everyone and he really needs to grow a spine but it was definitely not fair for him to be targeted when there are other much worse contestants walking away unscathed as if the things they said, did never happened.

It almost seemed like a circus to see everybody getting butt hurt over Sangram as if he owes them an explanation or justification to run him over like that. He is just another contestant like them so they should stop expecting things from him, how about they play their own game and let him be what he wants to be and if they are really itching to create drama and look for footage there are better avenues where it can be obtained i.e. Armaan, Tanisha who are long due for some payback.

on a serious note, one thing that bothered me was, that if i was in his place, i would have had a hunch that this could be playing to the housemates, you are in BB house so why not, and even if i didnt have that hunch, i still would have said no to this, why lay it out to them, and who cares if janta wants to know or not... its a bloody game, no need to figure out if jhoota or not... proves it highly scripted... there should have been some sort or discomfort displayed by sangram, but there was none, and the super wrestler goes through a super lie test, what a farce... this show is scripted in sense they are told the main storylines and twists, and the details they do by themselves... also, i am sure there is a clause in their contracts that if they open their mouths about the show being scripted, they will be in libel, and a hefty fine/lawsuit followed... hence, so far no one commenting on it...

for the smart arses saying then why watch it, oh just for the kicks, it is semi scripted but is still interesting to see them monkeys fight it out pointlessly... no self-respecting person would enter this show, is my ultimate observation...

You reap what you sow. Sangram has manipulated a lot of people in the house. Let's not forget he would tell contestants he would vote for them and then when the time came he would flip. Likewise he made similar promises about other things as well. There was always some excuse or the other. Either he couldn't understand or something else. He always had an explanation.

It is understandable that a lot of viewers feel sorry for him today, but when I look at it from the point of view of a contestant then I think it's unfair that one person is manipulating X and Y at the same time. Yes, it's smart and sneaky to do that, but you can't portray an innocent image if you're manipulating others. Some day your reality will come out. We don't get to watch them all the time. Some of the conversations are even muted in LF. Some of us barely get to glimpse 50 mins of BB every day. You're bound to be disappointed when someone doesn't live up to their expectations. No one likes to be manipulated and played around with.

I used to like Sangram at the start, but he is so consistent with his innocent act that it bugs me for someone so smart he should quit the 'i'm so innocent-so goodhearted-i can't understand' blah blah. If you're smart and cunning then own up to it. Stick to your reasoning and beliefs. It's okay to ruffle a few feathers rather than trying to please everyone!

You should be ashamed of Gauhar instead, it was due to her leaving the house without thinking. She just couldn't live without another contestant 😉😆

if she went why did she come back without Kushal?... Is a genuine question. You can't be that much self obsessed that, "if I go that's a stand and if I come back that's also a stand" that's called a contradiction.

So he thought that Gauhar shouldn't have returned to the house after leaving it. He was not making a statement from his mind. He was asked a question and he had to answer. If you think how would he answer without knowing everything? Then ask BB why this question was asked to him?? When asked, he had to answer and he has given an excellent justification sitting right there.

You make me 🤣 Gauhar was never even nice with him, forget about being ultra nice. 😆 He was treating Sangram as her servant. "Sangram come here", "Sangram go there", "Sangram do this", "Sangram do that", "why didn't you do this", "why did you say this"...even after the test he faced with such questions for having his opinion. This lady doesn't have any respect for others opinion. He is being nice only, that he isn't replying to her face and shutting her up...😉

Sangram is a coward. He doesn't have guts to speak his mind. He thinks something else but tries to be real sweet with everyone so no one nominates him and also gains sympathy from the public. Also today when he knew very well that Tanisha was over reacting with Ajaz , he didn't have the guts to tell Tanisha she was wrong instead he chose to convince Ajaz who he knows is ridiculed by most for his talking style.

I honestly wish Sangram had maintained his neutrality that he always boasts of during the task...!

He was asked opinion on Gauhar..not Kamya and Pratyusha ,so he responded honestly that she should have returned with Kushal as he had to go out because he stood up for her.Nobody in their right mind would have said that why the hell did you come back to the house on anyones face..just because he didn't tell Gauhar doesn't mean he was lying,he was being polite like everyone else.
He has never liked Pratyusha but not all people act rudely to the people they dislike, some maintain polite relations..i have never seen him spending any time with her..some people can't be rude to anyone,no matter how much they hate them..he hasn't said anything dirty about her behind her either,so its not hypocrisy.
He is neutral during tasks..but afterall he is human he might like/dislike some people otherwise...he did just fine today.

Nice post. I became indifferent to Sangram much earlier. In one of the early episodes when Anita was in the house, he went in frontbof the camera and started his monologue against Anita saying she says she doesn't know how this BB game is played, but she wasnt as innocent as she had taken away a husband from a wife and I was totally disgusted. How could he make such a comment, that too very deliberately abt a person who's life he wouldn't have a clue about?
Unfortunately dis was overlooked by most ppl and he ended up portraying himself as Gandhi ji.😲

They shouldn't be criticizing him not because he is too nice but because it is none of their business. He should take a stance when he wants to and how he wants to. They should not impose their thinking on him and making him feel guilty that he has done something wrong. I think he is a bit emotionally weak so he does not like when anyone is upset with him or not in talking terms with him. The reason that he apologizes so often is because he cant stand other people ignoring him. I know many people who are like that, even if they had an argument and they do not like someone they get upset if they are not in talking terms with that person.

Today everything I imagined about him just shattered. Yes everyone is entitled to his opinion. He had to say yes or no and had no other option. How could he have said no without without knowing the details again? He said later, the way gauhar reacted he felt at that time Gauhar and Kushal should have come together. and thats perfectly fine. Also, one more thing Gauhar was saying sangram said that he was happy that she returned but the question was not that he was happy or not it was whether she did the right thing by returning or not.

Again he did not have an option to shut up. If he had the option he would have definitely not spoken😊

It's also fine if he believes Pratushya is not a nice person, but it's not fine for him to sing praises of her on her face and denounce her behind her back.
This I have explained in the first para, and also he just said pratusha is not as good as Kamya and that was in open not behind her back. I also dont remember him saying she is as nice as kamya anyways.

I wish Gauhar and Pratushya grow indifferent to Sangram. Don't treat him badly but don't be friends with him either. Suddenly even his apologies have started looking so hollow to me now...
Now, what I really hope is Sangram to grow indifferent to Gauhar and pratusha not the other way around. Also, based on your arguments it would be great if you can answer me how does your perception of him being nice, humble, simple and honest change. Honest I can understand but Its not he wants to change his views in front of others but he is helpless as I had mentioned he may be emotionally weak, similarly I dont think arman wants to be angry but is also helpless as he is mentally weak. So bottom line is, I do not agree with you post as you have just magnified his one weakness where other have a lot more compared to him.
