Can nuclear power be used for welfare?

Whenever we heard the word "nuclear", nuclear bomb come into our mind. Nuclear power was invented for the welfare of the people. E.g. to produce electricity.

But instead of blessing it has become curse for humanity when some ppl misused it. Nuclear word has become a word of fear. Now my questions are:

Do you think our world is in danger bcz of nuclear power?

Why don't those countries, which have nuclear power, use it for the welfare of their country instead of proving their power to the world?

How nuclear power can be used in more good manner and beneficially?

I can't come up with any answers to your question.. I guess it has to do with the fact that some countries that have nuclear energy want it to get back at other countries rather than use it for welfare.

Nuclear Power was misused just once... The rest of the times its just used to scare other countries to play mindgames...

Other than Nuclear Bombs, Nuclear Power can be used for a variety of beneficial purposes. It can not only be used for nuclear research, but also for generating electricity and as a fuel. It has the potential to satisfy the world's growing energy needs. In India we have Nuclear Power stations at Kakrapar, Tarapur, Narora, Kalpakkam, Rawatbhatta etc.. Nuclear Power reactors can help in the furtherance of nuclear research. Radioactive Materials used as Nuclear Fuel can be used for Irradiation and for irradiation. Nuclear Power is really bebenficial, provided it is used in the right way...😃
