No Honour In These Killings!

Sure enough another psycho killing story.Again the killer was revealed right at the beginning. And of course half the team missing was heart breaking. And yet I was hooked right from the first scene upto the last. The story progressed in an orderly manner, the investigation was meticulously carried out and the job duties delegated such that each member had a chance to rise to the forefront and shine. And absolutely no bloopers that I could spot.Very well made episode if not a very intriguing one.

True that young people were being murdered for over twenty years and yet no one could see a pattern and do something about it.But one only has to open a newspaper or a news channel to see in what a apathetic and judgmental society we live in.Its a sad truth that unmarried couples committing suicides in seedy lodges are not worth investigating further.Their files are closed faster that you can say Murder.

No wonder Hariharan had a free run starting with his own sister and was dying to do away with his daughter too.All in the name of honour. For such people having a murderer in the family is acceptable to having a runaway daughter or sister.Sane civilised people can break their heads but will never figure out the logic behind such thinking. We can only hope for more ACP Arjun Rawtes to stop the Hariharans of this world in their tracks.

Once again through his brilliant analytical skills Arjun shut one other killer in his kitty. But the stoic cop does have his bit of fun as and when he can.I fell off laughing from the chair seeing him enjoying Chotu torturing that tapori fellow with a hot steaming cup of cutting for company.😆

And for the gazillionth time Mr Malhotra blazed and shone blindingly with yet another solid performance. 👏His dialogue delivery is honed and sharpened to perfection but I am sure he is going to improve on it even further. There was some nerve wrecking action sequences like chasing that homeless man and Hariharan with a bone crunching jump at the very end.I fervently wish for the hardwork of this dedicated artist to pay off big time.Others stuff themselves in designer suits and mouth cheesy/ tacky emotional dialogues all in the comfort of air conditioned sets and walk off with all the accolades. And this brilliant actor is not even passingly acknowledged for a year's worth of blood, sweat and tears.Sad and painful! But I pray not for long.

Chotu, Liza and Ms Anand played their parts superbly.

Another lovely evening all thanks to you,Team Arjun!👍🏼

Res
Just reached home... sits with my lappy now...

I got to reply now, sorry for keeping it res.
Episode was good... Above all i loved only few things
One was the high jump by SM...*Whistle* and
A small Arakshi scene.
Arjun enjoying his cutting chai while Chotu is making dulai of that man 😆

Also the scene were Arjun is attacked... Gawd, i thought he would hurt Arjun badly like Shree remember!

Otherwise all is well. I thought the Villain would play Sikander's role.. but no news of that so far. HA!

YES..the festivities are over and have deadlines to meet😔. Yet managed to take a break!!

The episode was interesting...but the investigation was back to being shoddy or maybe I was too sleepy to pay attention!. A forensic expert not able to distinguish fresh marks of strangulation from old one and arguing that it was a suicide? Then the sudden link of four girls being from the same college..what about the others killed in the 20 year span?? And the biggest issue for me was the motive-I understand the culture of honor killings but this looked so not convincing.
A family where the wife could so casually mention that the daughter is having an affair does not seem to be one which would over react. Plus, it did not seem like the daughter would need to elope like his sister...so what exactly was the 'paap' in this case. Falling in love? But he never for once mentioned thats his problem,or did he?😕

Ayesha was missed, but must say that gradually Sakshi does seem to make a place for herself. When I saw her pull the chair for Arjun I actually liked it...to have someone in the world to care for you is moving indeed. But immediately I had a rude wake up call-her mock strangulation reiterated that this track is far from gaining any depth.
Anyways, it helps keeping people satisfied with a 'cute' scene😛

Hey!Hope you had a grand day yesterday!😊

I too found Ms Anand's role very well scripted and it was rather sweet of her pulling up a chair for him like that. But it would have been so much better if she had just nodded politely at his cool refusal. By the way I came across some really heated comments demanding the shutting down of the show if the makers can't be bothered to care for viewers feelings and shoot more 'cute' scenes.I worry for this man adamant refusal to play to the galleries and slather himself all over his co actor both on and off screen. Its gonna cost him his show

Not too great..away from home and family and country! No worries..Arjun had me entertained😊

Exactly my thought! This track can progress beautifully as a tale of selfless, unconditional love unperturbed by its one way nature. But we have the lady sulking and scowling like literally a teenage girl instead of a mature woman knowing that she is dealing with a man like Arjun. No wonder he gives her attention worthy of a disturbing fly.😛

What?? Where is this epic being carried out?? I fail to understand out inability to accept anything other than romance. Any relationship cannot stand by itself unless it has the love quotient?? Lisa and Arjun interacting for more than once was also perceived as a potential romantic angle on this very forum, though it seemed more like a joke(thankfully). But it provoked me to think- does our audience never share a healthy working relationship with anyone? Everything HAS to be love-coated? I was amazed to see someone saying Arjun needs a woman in his life. Not amazed, disgusted actually. Sure enough, I mean who on this planet has ever heard of a friend, colleague ever sharing pain and providing solace?? It has to be a WOMAN,for reasons I leave to your imaginations!!
