Pros and Cons of where you live

What do you like/dislike most about where you live?

Toronto, Canada.

Advantages - The place where I live in Toronto is near everything!

Mall
Grocery stores
Temple
Park
Library
High school and university
Swimming pool
• Other attractions (Wonderland, CN tower, Niagara Falls…etc etc)

Another advantage would be, because Toronto has a large Indian community, Indian festivals are celebrated here, for example Holi is celebrated at the temple.

Another advantage – Because Toronto is largely populated the fire services I've noticed do a REALLY good job of going to all the places that they've been called to do, quickly.

Disadvantages –

Houses in Toronto, are EXPENSIVE (come to think about it, rents in aparments are expensive, too). I know because, my family is looking for one, and houses which were already built in Toronto, and are being sold, and expensive, and even there are NEW ONES being build IN TORNTO .. they're expensive, too. And that's because, Toronto is already a developed city.

Well Toronto is in Canada, so to some people the weather would be a disadvantage. As for me, I like the snow but to a certain limit…so I usually don't mind the weather.

Im sure there are lots more... but that's all I have now..and plus..there are a lot of members from Toronto here..hehe..so im giving them a chance to write something, too. 😛

am close to all the amenities like meghavi, also my freinds live close by

but what i dont like is the weather an racists in the uk who are always saying go back to your own country, never mind the fact that i was born there.

Pros

• The financial capital of India, thus offers me ample scope, being related to finance stream/commerce stream
• Comparitively safe city
• Care free city
• Love the BEST buses anmd locals(cause they're very efficient as compared to the no. of commuters they carry)
• Great shopping and food joints.
• Ample courses for commerce students.

Cons

• Too crowded
• Always in a hurry
• Poiluted
• Stinking and dirty city
• poor infrastructure apart from BEST buses and locals
• lack of public toilets

Vancouver, BC

Pros

shopping mallz😛 lots of indian ppl lool lots of sights [ stanley park, suspension bridge..etc] great restaurants affordable
• lots of peaceful neighbourhoods
• great schools
• the pne😃😛

Cons

lots of ppl we're gunna have to start paying taxes for the 2010 olympics it was the city with the highest car theft rate i think lots of homeless ppl
• lots of druggies

seattle wa

pros
mild weather (1-2 snow,high in 70 in summer)
near to canada (ONE MORE TO VISIT)

Cons
expensive housing
rain or cloudy for 8-9 months 😡 😡

Kolkata
Pros

safe ...far more safe than other metros of India

Cheap...very affordable I must say....compare to the other city u will have to spend less to get the same facility


Awesome food- every place you get food is of top quality and is available at a cheap rate

kolkata is place for art, literature and culture and intellectuals

Friendly and lively ppl

Cons

Pollution

infrastuctural drawbacks related to it's transports and some other matters

poor traffic sense and awareness of road rules

Dirty like other cities of India
