hamida wants to wash off jalal's bad qualities, but she never said tht she doesnt want a son like jalal. HB is also aware of jalal's gdu qualities. she knows tht jalal is not a bad son. HB also wants a son like jalal, she is just against his bad qualities.

In real life maham body gaurd tried killing akbar in delhi as he as going to nizamuddin dargah but luckily arrow struck his body gaurd and akbar saved. The assasin was caught and ministers requested to interrogate him to know real murderer but akbar said many close ones name will be dragged in controversy just kill him now and closed that chapter. He may have know who was behind attack.

again akbar was attacked by assasin and was hit by arrow suspected to be sent by maham in delhi(they showed this in movie as agra market instead of delhi market) that is when akbar took full political control in his hand after recovering from that murder attempt

so all this speaking in his favour is eye wash by maham

she always loved only adham

jalal was just a pawn to become powerful and her sons ambitions and she took advantage of his gratitude to her.

and maham killed 2 women who had been abused by adham from reaching akbar court lest they spill beans

and she hide the fact that because of adham rani roopmati killed herself from akbar too

she is not so decent as being potrayed in this serial
