Bua doesn't find Kaajjal any where and she is upset when satya comes and he is shocked to see the empty room. Satya says that they shouldn't have forced Kaajjal for the marraige knowing that she was not ready to for the commitment. Bua says that Kaajjal was never forced and as it had happened something needs to be done, the guests were waiting outside. Usha Tai enters the room and finds dumbstruck Bua and satya, she asks for Kaajjal and confused Bua says that she was no where to be found when Hottie comes and informs that Kaajjal went to the temple and she had promised to return on time. Satya and Bua say that she shouldn't have gone alone as it was her engagement.
Dev gathers all the gifts that he received from Kaajjal and he says that finally he was taking out Kaajjal from his heart and life; her belongings should no more be with him, he sets them on fire, he takes the locket and puts it into the fire as well. Something keeps on irritating him, he glares at the locket which was already in the fire, and then he quickly puts his hands in the fire and takes it out. He says that he has taken this step after putting a big stone on his heart, he had locked his feelings for ever but stll it was equally tough for him. Kaajjal pleads to gannu bhaiya that she was helpless, she wants the name to be rubbed out from her mind heart and soul but she falied miserably to do so, he requests gannu bhaiya to help her forget Dev, she cries and cries saying that why it was so tough for her to forget that one name, the name that still was safe in her heart, her soul can part but why not that name.
Satya is worried as it was already late, they should have reached the engagement hall before dhruv and his family but Kaajjal was not there. Bua asks Satya to go and attend the guests while she brings Kaajjal but Satya says that he won't be able to make it all alone. Hottie ensures that she will bring kaajjal from the temple and the others should go to attend the guests. NT is ready with the pandits at the same temple. The puja starts and the pandits ask NT for the tamra patra. Kaajjal is done with her prayers and finally she gets the nerve to site for the engagement. When she is walking down the stairs she overhears the pandits talking about Dev.
Kaajjal stopped right there and she heads towards the puja place. She asks the pandits as to why the puja was going on for Dev. The pandits say that as Dev had shaani dasha so this Puja is performed to decrease it but Kaajjal is still unclear. NT sees Kaajjal and she thinks that Kaajjal should not know about the tamra patra and she hides the tamra. The pandits are about to say about Dev's coming death when NT comes and stops the pandits. She asks Kaajjal to go for her engagement as Dhruv and his family might be eagerly waiting for her. Kaajjal says that she came to take God's blessings before she goes for the engagement. Curious Kaajjal as to what dasha the pandits were talking about when Ameesha comes and explains that the puja was performed so that dev is able to get control over his anger. She insists Kaajjal to leave immidiately.
NT thinks that imaybe it was God's wish that kaajjal should come to the puja dn if she touched the stuffs for puja and tamra patra then maybe the puja will be successful. She quickly pretends to drop the puja plate when Kaajjal holds it preventing it from toppling over. NT is happy that now Dev's life will be saved, she blesses kaajjal and she leaves. Dhruv and his family come with rackers and drum beats; they are welcomes by satya and party. Dhruv's eyes keeps on looking for Kaajjal and Usha tai says that she was taking time to get dressed and she will be back soon.
On the other hand the puja starts and NT hands the tamra patra to the pandits. Just then strong wind start wafting, the bell from the temple breaks on the ground, and the tamra patra flies to Kaajjal. Kaajjal turns around unable to manage her hair when the patra strikes her face. She reads the tamra patra while NT and Ameesha are shocked still.
