2 Years later.
The magic lives on.
Love Scenes 121 and 122.
They were, are and will always be my most favorite scenes of all time.
From any film, any soap, any other source of entertainment.
It's to the point that I am literally obsessed with them.
To the point, where when I could have asked Barun and Sanaya anything in the world, I chose to ask about LS 122.
To the point I've had the top comment on this scene over 6 or 7 times.

Everything about this scene is just ... too beautiful for me to coherently put into words.
The f r i c t i o n, the p a s s i o n , the d e s i r e . All communicated without a single word exchanged.
In fact, forget words.
The chemistry that is present without even touching.
When they are on different sides of a room full of loud, crowded people and celebrations.
And that a l m o s t kiss.

The scrunching of the sari, the gentle caress of the hands and the passion of those eyes.
The hesitancy, the anxiety and the excitement of discovering a payal kept with what she considered a monster.
His safekeeping of her late mother's last remembrance.
The looking past of relationships and commitments, forgetting of class and status to give way for the rawest but the purest form of need.
And what touches me most about this, is how Arnav and Khushi have made this song their own. The original depiction of Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai in Jism concentrates heavily on the physical pleasures of love, namely sex and flesh.
Sanaya and Barun acted so PHENOMENALLY in this scene, that the song has become equivalent with the most natural, deepest and righteous feelings and sentiments.
No vulgarity or lewdness, whatsoever.
I love this scene so much. It literally hurts.

Thank you for giving me one more reason to celebrate Diwali.
