Unlike quite a lot of people on this forum, I never had any doubts about the SR. Ekta never ever shows the SR in this manner. It happens in not only her shows but many others including the very popular IPKKND, Madhubala, DMG etc. Plus, Jalal is nothing if not honourable.
In the light of this, I am quite sick and tired of the half baked romance in JA. It does not have the charm of the previous initial scenes and is so hurried! Even something as momentous as Jalal carrying Jodha was shown hurriedly. And his smoldering looks in the tent were spoiled by Jodha's fearful expressions. I don't remember the last time something was slowly simmering in the eyes of the protagonists. Its just very disappointing.
What isn't disappointing is how Jalal is smart as heck! Instead of outright denial, he chose to partially accepy the blame Jodha put on him. In doing so, he is forcing her to look beyond the obvious and delve within. Was he really such an animal as to violate his helpless wife, in her eyes? Is she able to accept that a man who treats her with so much respect would degrade her like that for his pleasure? The answers are hidden within Jodha's heart and in accepting her blame imperiously, he has forced her to question all she knows about him. In the end, I feel this can only be for the best.
