well , the article says it all and am dropping the track as this is too unpalatable for my traditional soul .
As i said , i was unattached to pairs .
But what mattered to me was the execution of a principle that is personified in the institution called marraige .
And constantly fun was made of principles in this serial while passionate heat was glorified .
Cheap behaviour was glorified .
Feelings r more important than usool . Give in to feelings .
Wrong . So wrong . Coz if one starts giving in to feelings there will be havoc in society . When u defer to a higher principle there is a check . Or there will be chaos .
Today i am ashamed of all the 4 leads . They r all immoral , weak characters who regard lust as everything .
Usool must be done away as 'pyaar' can't . Why ? It is some non stop fountain ? Of course feelings can be controlled . They can even be done away with . What lies r fed and what crap is talked ?
Why should a girl go back to a guy who married her by fraud where her life was in danger ?
Why should another girl act shamelessly as if she had no other option and wait for a married guy to divorce his wife ?
Why should an elder man bring about a divorce to see his spoilt daughter happy instead of telling her to move on by using money power and be hailed as the 'only sensible one' in the serial ?
What Mukta and Akash should have been sharply told by someone is to put a lid on it and behave or go to therapy .
The grandparents were stupid to bequeath their blessing and go away to their village . Their blessing was defiled by an outsider who had no business being in that house by constantly bringing prostitutes there .
Another grandmother was stupid to get her naatin divorced from a fraudulent marraige and re settle her in life by getting her re married
and the guy who married her was stupid to believe that marraige was greater than past feelings , crushes , lust etc .
Sensible was the bully who used money power to break up a marraige so HIS daughter could get her favorite toy [ she was gonna fling his usools and mind out of the window once she got him and only have his body and be a proper Lucifer's daughter]
Sensible was the man who drank and brought prostitutes
Sensible was the girl who was threatening to marry a psycho and constantly inflicting emotional stress [ will anyone even marry such a dominating girl]
While RPR ensured Mukta's first marraige with his money power , it will be Meethi's second divorce , but all that is fine .
So
what is marraige ?
Going around the fire 7 times . Wearing finery and good clothes .
Then breaking it up as u don't 'feel' like it .
Then swapping , mix and matching .
And when all lustful nonsense is portrayed as 'pyaar' vedic mantras r chanted loudly in the background by Uttaran makers . Excellent guys , keep it up .
