I think he loves Zoya very much as a friend n he realized dat cuz of him her life is getn ruined. Dats y he keeps recalling Zoya's words n feel guilty @ wat happened due to him. He loves Najma but he sud stnad for her in front of Bhaiseena. If he has truly changed then he sud return all d gifts dat he received during his n Nikhat's relationship including d house given by Asad.
