u guys, the district is shutting down my elementary school😭 , and i
want to
know if you guys can help me and give me ideas

this might give you more information (its a letter my friends wrote to the
vice principal of my high school:

We have addressed this letter to you, since you are incharge of both
schools. This letter is because our elementary school is shutting down,
which you have probably heard about, and we don't want this to happen.
Our elementary school is Bakerview Elementary, which the district wants
to shut down so that they can put the school board office there. We
wanted to know if you could try and help us get petitions signed
throughout both schools- high, and middle. We were hoping you could
somehow help us get the petitions signed and if you could do an
announcement on the PA for us so that others help us. Can you please
give us your input on this, and try to assist us in keeping our school
open?

Can you guys please give me ideas, on how to keep the school open?? We
have just 7 hours to come up with something........😒

If you guys want a petition, then write one and get students from both the middle school and high school to sign it. If you guys are really serious about this, then i say rally. Make boards and signs in which you tell the people that ur serious and that u don't want the shut down the school. I wud also say, for the letter, rewrite it. It sounds very pessimistic. Here's what i would write:

I hope this letter reaches you in the best of health. It has come to our attention that the Bakerview Elementary school is being shut down and that in place of it, the school board office will be put. Seeing as though you are in charge of both schools, we come to you in our time of need. We come with high hopes and we hope that you do not send us back empty handed. We would like for you, to first, get the petitions signed. Furthermore, we would very much appreciate it if you could make an announcement on the PA system, telling the other students of our cause and trying to get them to help us also. Indeed, it would be very much appreciated if you could assist us. Thank you for taking the time out for listening to us.

I would say a peaceful rally or a petition, a parents committee within the school could also hold some sway right?
