I have a feeling Jalal is noticing his feelings for Jodha not of love yet, but of friendship or as they say talking to relate (getting to know each other). Recall before doing push-ups, he asked Jodha if she has fallen for him. This signal to me that he wants to know what she thinks of him or feels even if it's ghrina or whatever. He is beginning to relate to her and wants to get to know her on deeper levels-beyond her exterior.
There is no way I am suggesting they are falling for each other intimately, but the desire of being on the same page is prevalent. After watching today's episode, Jodha for the first time stood up for him. This is a start and portrays her opening gateways into exploring the Jalal or Jallad as she would put it-using her brain not anger.
Jalal:
Physical comfort with Jodha-he is very comfortable with her in her presence and open about almost everything up to date. Not to mention he is attracted to her (duh that's what he still deals with her crap lol) She is a tease and guys love to chase.
Emotionally- Both have a emotional relationship based on making promises and fulfilling them. Kind of like a business contract. On an emotional level apart from her, he respects her and cares about her feelings especially regarding her family. On other hand, he connects to her (same boat example) and this parallels a gateway to page of mutual understanding and justification over her previous actions; thus he has made peace with her behavior and continues to forgive her. She is yet to find that ground with him to meet his level of understanding at least.
Deeper connection of love and intimacy-Not there yet for BOTH
Jodha:
Physical comfort with Jalal: She is somewhat comfortable with him in terms of sharing space and somewhat touching, such as holding hands and sitting together (just how strangers who met or people who go on a first date would do). She has a brick wall when he is around her and this is reflected through her actions. Imagine you are on a first date with someone, you know they will be next to you, but you also know when to draw the line-her situation is similar with Jalal.
Emotionally: A part of her is still mad at him for the reasons you all know from marriage to miscarriage incident to the list goes on with her. Although she respects him as a king, but not a husband. Her mind is guarded and has Jallad imprinted. Her anger and moodiness is her defensive mechanism. She trusts him to a certain degree and this is shown in today's episode( when she backed him up)but she is not trusting him as a husband only a king of how he is true to his word (in the experiences she had with him over his word,he fulfilled all). She has more guards up then Jalal. Her words today; is like finding the door knob to get to know him: first step to look beyond her ghrina and use began to use her brain a little bit whereas Jalal has passed this step. It's her turn, cannot wait for next week.
