... i just offered it as one of the explanation not a reason ... and the difference between harshika and sarthak is that her loss was recent ... when coming to terms with the death of a parent, some children may clamp up, some may become more aggressive etc ... they need time to settle down...

And like any reality show, how much is edited ? what is "real", could be easily misunderstood ... and masterchef junior, the channel has done everything to create drama ...

All i am saying is that lets not judge children ... especially on the basis of "reality" tv show

Wow, I am extremely disappointed with this post. Let's not forget these are children. Everything they say, even if it comes across as rude, is out of innocence. To say that a child uses tears about her mother's passing away to get ahead is completely insensitive and appalling. I am not in any way condoning children backbiting others but to even make the this comment is way out of line. Also, if we are going to come down to the level of pitting children against each other, many of the other children have been rude to Harshieka. Why not call them out?
That being said, I was also happy for Emmanuel because he is a fine young chef, not because him winning led to Harshieka losing.

Amen to that ... I don't like the way they handled masterchef junior ... actually this is the reason i don't like the idea of children in reality shows ... tv is all about money, drama and trps ... and children need to remain innocent at least a little longer ...i can't believe how catty some ppl are towards little kids ... not just harshika but any and all of them ... i just hope people don't start sending hate mails to kids based on their "performance" on tv ... children on tv is just too exploitative

I think u r referring 2 some other post coz i never mentioned tat H is try 2 win sympathy. All i am saying is that she is not polite & courteous neither to her fellow contestants nor to the senior chefs who help her during the team contest. Its the duty of elders to point out such things so tat kids learn & reform. I am not nitpicking just tat her behaviour caught my attention since she has repeatedly shown this kind of attitude. Hope she learns & changes which ll help her in the long run!
