How can we tackle pollution in cities?
What more can the government do to ease the impact of pollution?
The way the government handles the damaging effects of pollution on our urban areas needs to be overhauled, a report from the Royal Commission says.
The government is being asked to create a better system which looks at the ways that housing, transport and energy effect levels of pollution in urban areas in which up to 80% of the UK population live.
Under the new system, ideas such as the London congestion charge, which has been praised by the commission, could be made more wide spread.
What measures do you think should be put into place by the government? Is the congestion scheme a good idea? Is it responsibility of the individual and not the government to reduce the effects of pollution?😳😳😳
