Based on the Tatasky spoiler.

DISCLAIMER: This is not a spoiler or prediction.

I am bored with MaBert/Zoyaan track. Just don't find it cute at all. Sad, the CVs killed MaBert. Even after AsYa reunites and there's a MaBert scene, it may not be appreciated.

Khan Villa

The house seemed was so eerily quiet. Asad sat on his bed waiting for Dilshad to return. Asad was missing Zoya tremendously. He wondered if she was OK. What he wouldn't give to hear her voice, her non-stop chatter again. He longed to hold her in his arms.

He tried to read a book to keep his mind occupied, from thinking about Zoya. He stared at the page without focusing on it. Zoya's face, her smile teased him from out of the page which was open. Finally he could stand it no longer. He tossed the book aside and picked up his phone and dialed Zoya's number.

Zoya did not pick up the call. Asad frowned. Why did she not pick up the phone? Is she still angry with him. Asad shut his eyes in pain.

Asad cried silently in prayer: "Why, oh why, Oh God, are you putting Zoya and me through this test. Haven't we been through enough already. I am like a zombie without Zoya in my life. Please God, bring Zoya, my life back to me. Please God, make her pick up the phone.".

Asad tried Zoya's number again. The phone kept ringing and just when he was about the cut the phone in frustration, Asad heard a "Mr.Khan?" on the other side of the line. It sounded like heavenly music to his ears. He closed his eyes in relief and happiness.

Asad: "Ms. Farooqui?"

Zoya: "Yes, Mr.Khan."

Asad: "Are you ok?"

Zoya: "Yes, Mr.Khan. Aur aap?"

Asad: "No, I'm not OK. I am missing you a lot. I can't concentrate on anything. I need you with me, beside me, Zoya. I can't take this anymore. I am going to come and pick up tomorrow. Please get your things in order, pack all your stuff as I don't want to go back there even for a minute because you've left something behind. OK, Ms. Farooqui".

Zoya hesitated. Asad's heart sank. A lightening flash of Zoya bending over Ayaan, taking care of him went through his mind. His mind screamed NO.

Asad: "What is it, Ms. Farooqui? Is there a problem? Don't worry about anything. We can face it together. Forget tomorrow. Forget about your stuff. I will come and pick you up in about a hour's time. Let Ayaan know and wait for me by the gate."

Zoya hesitated for a second and then "Mr. Khan, I can't leave now. I need a couple more days here.".

Asad was almost stunned into silence. He had only a while ago spoken to Ayaan and Ayaan sounded on the mend then.

"Why, Ms. Farooqui?" Asad in a loud voice. Then softly with concern, "Has Ayaan had a relapse?"

Zoya: "No. Mr.Khan. Ayaan, by God's grace, is doing fine. In fact he's moving around now".

"Then why, Ms. Farooqui" Asad shouted exasperatedly. "Why do you have to stay back? There's no more need for you to be there. You belong here with me."

Zoya then went on to tell Asad about the Maulvi, the documentary, the impact is she said no to Najma and Nikhat.

Asad could not take it anymore. He cut the phone. He pushed his hair back in frustration and then sat down in defeat and covered his face with his palms. And he sat there and he sat there without moving even a muscle.

Dilshad drove in. She was surprised to see the house in the dark. She wondered where Asad had disappeared. She was sure that Asad had told her that he would not be going anywhere. She unlocked the front door with her set of keys and peeped into Asad's room. She was shocked to see Asad sitting there with his shoulders slouched and his face in his palms.

Dilshad softly: "Asad". Asad did not respond. Dilshad walked upto Asad and placed her hand on his head.

"Asad". Said Dilshad a little louder.

Asad was startled. He lifted his head and looked at his mother. Dilshad was shocked to see the pain in Asad's eyes. His eyes were red with unshed tears.

Dilshad ran her fingers through Asad's hair to comfort him.

Asad in a broken voice: "Ammi, do you think Zoya has stopped loving me, trusting in me for what has happened".

Dilshad: "What nonsense! Now, what did happen in these few hours while I was away, Asad".

Asad stared at Dilshad for a few minutes, then shook his head, "Kuch nahi, Ammi. Kuch nahi" and walked away.

"Asad" Dilshad in frustration and went behind him.

"Why isn't this boy telling me anything at all? I'm sure this something has happened with respect to Zoya. But what could it be for him to think that way, for him to have that look of hopelessness on his face." Dilshad thought to herself.

Dilshad again: "Asad". Asad turned around.

Asad: "I don't want to talk about it. I would like to be by myself. Please leave me alone for a while".

Dilshad took one look at his set face and decided to let it be, knowing that no matter what Asad is not going to say anything.

Dilshad: "Okay, what would you like for dinner?"

Asad: "No Ammi. I'm not hungry. Why don't you eat something and retire for the day. You must be tired."

Dilshad: "If you are not going to eat, then maybe I won't too. I'm not hungry too".

Asad looked at Dilshad and sighed:"Okay, Okay, I'll have something for dinner".

Dilshad went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the two of them. She wondered how Najma is coping at her in-laws. Dilshad was longing to call Zoya and speak with Zoya. She probably would have without hesitation. But after seeing Zoya at Haseena's house, all broken and sad, Dilshad was in a dilemma. What if after she calls and Zoya loses all courage to be able to handle the situation but then again what if her call strengthens Zoya. As she went about the kitchen, she wondered what had happened earlier. She knew Asad would just shut down if she tried to pry it out of him. She decided to wait until dinner, and if his mood had not improved then maybe wait until the next day.

8:00 PM

Dinner was a silent affair that evening. Asad sat at the table, toying with his food. The moment Dilshad finished her meal, Asad stood up and said good night and turned to leave.

Dilshad: "Asad, Wait! I don't know what had happened earlier on, but remember one thing, God does not let go of a true heart. God does not separate true love. But you must believe it too. Do not doubt it. All will be well soon. Don't lose hope".

Asad looked at Dilshad. For a moment, it looked like he was going to say something. But that moment passed and he walked away.

TWO DAYS LATER

Since his conversation with Zoya, Asad went through the days like a clockwork zombie. He kept himself busy at work to stop himself from thinking about Zoya. He pushed his employees too as much as he pushed himself. On the second day, Asad decided to let his staff leave early. He left early too.

As he drove, he wondered how he could make the situation go back to the way it was before. He reached the gate and he waited for the gate to auomatically open. But it did not. He got out of the car and he realized he was in front of Siddique Mansion and not in front of his gate. His eyes searched for Zoya for a minute or two and then turned and got into the car. He rested his head on the steering wheel in despair.

"How was he going to spend another night away from her?" thought Asad to himself.

He remembered Dilshad's words. "Do not despair... Do not lose hope". He then made a resolve. He is not going to back on his own today. He is going to claim his bride, his love, his life. He's had enough.

He called Ayaan to make sure that Zoya was in the house. Ayaan confirmed it.

Asad got out of his car and walked to the gate. He stopped for a moment, took a deep breadth and walked to the front door. He stepped in through the door and stopped short at the sight before his eyes. His Zoya was standing all by herself and sobbing. Ayaan was standing a little away from Zoya looking down. Razia was shouting at Zoya saying that Zoya had no culture. She had brought shame to the family by hugging another being a married woman.

Asad from the door shouted: "Stop"

All eyes turned towards Asad in shock.

Badi Bi, Shireen, Rashid, Razia in shock, exclaimed: "Asad!!!"

Zoya turned: "Mr. Khan" and ran towards him. Asad opened his arms out for her. But Zoya stopped herself just in front of Asad recalling Razia's words and looked at Asad sobbing even harder. For a moment, Asad's eyes clouded in pain. He then realized that Zoya had stopped herself from running into his arms because of what Razia had said.

Asad closed the gap between them and grabbed Zoya into a tight hug. He looked at Ayaan in anger.

Asad: "Ayaan, you had promised me that you would take care of Zoya, ensured that she will not cry. You broke your promise to me".

Ayaan: "Bhaijaan..."

Asad put his hand up: "Bas. Enough is enough. I will not have Zoya be maligned anymore. I am taking Ms. Farooqui home right this minute. She is not going to stay here even a minute longer."

Badi Bi: "Asad beta, you cannot. Zoya is Ayaan's wife. Is ghar ki bahu hai."

Asad: "No, she is not. This was the arrangement between Ayaan and myself. Zoya was to stay here until Nikhat got married and no more. But then Ayaan fell ill and I asked her to stay back as I didn't want to make the situation even worse or get you all even more tensed up. Zoya sacrificed a lot for Nikhat's sake by agreeing to our brother's deal. Instead of thanking her and blessing her, all that you could do was malign her, speak ill of her parents. Zoya is mine and mine alone. She is my life, my all".

Asad turned to Zoya, cupped her face in his hands, wiping her tears with his fingers said: "I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry. Zoya, I will never let go of you ever again no matter what. I did what I did for Nikhat and no one else".

With that Asad threaded his fingers in Zoya's and walked her out of SM. He gently seated her in the car and then the driver's seat and drove off to the Khan Villa.

P.S. BUT ALL IS NOT THE SAME ONCE BACK AT THE KHAN HOUSE. ZOYA WAS SCARRED BY THE INCIDENT AND ASAD HAD TO WORK ON GAINING ZOYA"S TRUST BACK... But that's another episode

P.P.S. I don't want things to go back to normal.

  1. I would like to see Asad and Zoya working out their pain of the past weeks, talking to one another.
  2. I would like to see Asad having tiny fits of jealousy.
  3. I would like Zoya to feel insecure about being THE priority in Asad's life

That was nice. I liked it and the premise you gave of Asad having to work harder to rebuild Zoya's trust.

Same here I too want that all but I don't want Asad to be jealous and shout at Zoya, small nok jhok would be cute.
And most importantly I want Asad to learn that no matter what and who ever is there Zoya is his first priority and he can't sacrifice her for even her sake.
Secondly Zoya should stop detectifying herself and should tell Asad always about her whereabouts.
I hope they don't show Zoya going to SM again for some reason as Ayan's wife. Because they can bring in the Najma and Imran fiasco and Nikhat Farhan fiasco and give us only ASYA romance.

IS it too much to ask for ??

Thank you Xarina.

Yes I would like it to be more realistic.

I do not want to see Asad and Zoya married as yet.

CV's somehow think that all romance dies once a couple gets married . That's not right, there are so much more avenues to go down to keep us interested but for that reason I would not want Asad and Zoya to get married yet.
I have dreams of seeing a Zoya who is mentally beaten and Asad be the one to rebuild her confidence because the distance would be so wide between them-how cruel am I? But I would love to see a caring Asad trying to coax some life back into his doll, helping her to feed, to wash, to dress. Guess I am looking into a much different scenario. But it would be a crowd puller, no? 😊

Thank you.

Yes, I want to see him back in action. He was a person who made himself into what he was despite his circumstances. It was ok to show that he was initially blinded by his love that he could not focus. But now I would like to see an Asad who becomes strong because of his love.

LOL,

You bet it would be... Gosh the would-be kiss itself sent everyone in a frenzy.

I'm looking at more than that.
I guess I am looking at a realistic approach of bridging the gap that has grown from both Asad and Zoya's side.

In the case of Zoya, her total faith in Asad is shaken. I want Asad to work on it.

I would like to see a heart to heart conversation between Dilshad and Zoya - a mother to daughter convo.

In the case of Asad, though I don't like this, I would like him to be tortured a little a bit with the flashbacks of Zoya caring for Ayaan and I would like Asad to play for Zoya's sympathies unconsciously. I would like Asad to pretend to be sick and have Zoya fussing over him.
