2 days later -- the night before the nikaah

asad what are you doing ? noora asked for the 100th time ! how long do we have to pretend ! you tell me we are not getting married and then you tell me to carry on pretending ! ammi and najma and everyone thinks tomorrow is our nikaah ! i wont go through with this im sorry asad ! im going right now to tell ammi this nikaah is not happening ! so go and tell her ! asad declared ! but you will tell her what i tell you to say !

zoya sat in her room - she touched her neck only to realise again that asad took her necklace away ! she felt bare without it ! she wanted to ask him to return it the same day he took it but he dropped the bomb and announced he was getting married ! of course it upset her ! her feelings for asad never went away ! she always loved him and it was her own fault that she never chose him ! she needed to move on - and she could only move on if she had asads forgiveness and as much as it hurt her , she needed to talk to him !

she got up and left her room and at the same time she saw noora coming out of asads room and she was crying !

noora ran to dilshaad and said im sorry ammi but im not marrying asad ! im sorry !

noora - dilshaad voice was laced with concern and fear at the same time ! what happened ? what did asad say ! im sure we can work it out !

no ammi ! noora said firmly ! asad is not the man for me ! i just cant marry him ! this nikaah is over ! my desicion is final ! and noora ran past zoya and into their room and she locked the door !

i guess its not in my destiny to get married ammi ! asad shocked dilshaad and zoya with his emotionless voice !

asad - dilshaad turned to him and she went to him ! cant we fix this ? im sorry ammi once a heart is shattered it can never be fixed and as he said this he looked directly at zoya !

im sorry ammi but it over and he went back in his room !

dilshaad was shaking and zoya ran to her ! phupi be careful and she led her to a chair ..

why does always happen to him zoya ? i cant see my son like this anymore ! and she wiped her tears away !

what if he never gets married ? all a mother wants is too see her children happy !and dilshaad walked up to her room while zoya sat thinking how to make this better for phupi ...

10 minutes later zoya was pulling noora to asads room !

please leave me zoya - i dont want to talk to him !

cmon noora - just try for phupi ..

zoya knocked on asads room and they walked in - he was staring at something with his back turned to them -

umm mr khan - zoya shocked asad and he pushed the object into his pocket and asked coldly what they wanted from him !

mr khan - i think u and noora should try to work out whatever differences are between yourl ! just for phupi - at least try ! and asad laughed and went to hug noora who hugged him back !

zoya was confused - noora took pity on her and decided to fill in the blanks !

see zoya , asad and i were never in love , he is just my best friend ! and we are business partners ! and she filled zoya in how she lied to the nurses that asad was her fiance just so they would treat him and that this 3 day wedding mess was actually a way for asad to make zoya jealous !

noora went and hugged zoya who was speechless ! asad just told me that you were the one he loved and he wanted this charade to go on for a little while to make you jealous and hurt you bcoz you hurt him ! but now its over - im just sorry that phupi got hurt in this mess ! anyway zoya u r probably in shock .. im going to let you and asad talk .. asad winked at her and led her out of the room and closed the door and turned to face zoya ..

zoya couldnt believ her ears ! did asad do this just to make me jealous , he still loved me ? she looked to asad who was smiling at her and before she knew it he was hugging her and she responded ! she held him tight ! and she never wanted to let go !

he pulled away from her and said , marry me zoya ! everything is set for tomorrow ! we can still have a nikaah tomorrow ! ours ! ammi will be happy ! we both get what we finally want !

but mr khan ! whatever happened between us ,

shh zoya - asad interrupted ! forget about all that ! do you still love me ? if you do then marry me !

the next day -- ammi was smiling brightly asad and zoya were finally married ! noora had come and filled her in on what had happened ! everything after that was a blur ! and now everything was finally in place ! she couldnt be happier !

asad watched silently from where he stood ! he was glad ammi and najma were happy ! but he felt nothing ! and he looked at zoya and that same feeling rose up in him ! not love or desire but hate ! he was going to make zoyas life a living hell and she had happily walked into his trap !
