Hun, I love Anoop and Mohnish too, but my main problem is what you have said - that the character underwent such a DRASTIC change for no rhyme or reason. Even if he did fall in love with Paro, he could have retained his "Suyash Mehra"ness😆😆 no need to become a raging Devdas....but as far as actors go, both have done a great job with the char. It is the char that I have the main problem with.
