QT for you 😉😆. Do you think if you provide a full financial security to MILs for their old age ,they would be less intrusive in their children's life?
Though the question if for QT still I would like to post my POV too😛. Most parents are selfless and all they wish is happiness and prosperity for thteir children. They even refuse monetery help which children provide them and some put that money in future bonds for their children. If one is in dire need of money then it is children's duty to help and look after them but there are selfish parents too who live on children like parasites. Pestering chilldren for constantly for all the things they never could afford before. These category belongs to the people who have money to lead a content life but they yearn for more. They think that since they took so much effort to bring their kids up now it's kids turn to repay. If that thought comes to any parents' mind then I think they are thte most selfish people in the world and lose respect in my eyes. As a mother I would never imagine asking my kid to repay because I brought her up. Having a child was my choice and taking proper care of my kid is my duty. Children should take care of parents for love and respect not because the other side gets demanding.
An eg. from a TV show: In BB there was a contestant Rakhi Sawant whose parents never had any time for her and her siblings. They were poor who lived in chawl. She started working at the age of 14 doing films, tems numbers and to the extend for being a call girl for high profile people. With all the money she earned she provided good for her mother. She got her siblings married and gave them flats and money. She has helped her mother a lot. All of thte have heaped praise on her in another show. Now when she asked her mother to move in with brother so that she could have privacy suddely everyone has turned against her. Her mother doesn't want her to marry. Brother and mother are miffed because the golden goose has finally stopped laying eggs. Now how much respect such parents deserve?
