Rishbala 2 shots- All is well that ends Well

ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL

Rishab threw a pillow on Sulthan as he ducked it as easy as breathing, "Come on Rishu get used to it", he said still laughing at his best mate. Rishab felt like wriggling his throat for laughing at his plight, "Shut your gutter mouth and say some way out of this mess", he snapped. Sulthan muffled his laugh and then spoke breathlessly, "There is one way out" and Rishab instantly looked at him hopefully but the next second Sulthan said, "Marry her", and howled with laughter making Rishab groan. At last not able to take the tantrums thrown by his friends Mukund budged in, "Will you both stop fighting like children?" Rishab saw him with a sore expression and Mukund sighed. He knew what the problem was. Rishab, he and Sulthan have been thick friends since what seemed like the day they were wrapped in a new towel and taken to the incubator room in the hospital. All 3 have grown up together and they were through and through with each other though none of their natures cross over even by mistake. Sulthan was the eldest of the 3 while he is 3 hrs older than Rishab and 12 hrs older than Mukund. But he is the most scallywags of all with his pranks and non stopping nonsense though he would prefer not to play foul in anything. Rishab was kind of volley between super cool and stupid arrogant Richie rich. He was friendly with them but when it comes for the strangers he is such a ruthless *******. Mukund was the youngest but still the sensible of the 3 with rational thinking and not judgemental fool. All three partnered up for the 3 Musketeers of Chocolate Fountain or better TMCF which produces the best quality of chocolates in India.

Life was eventually good until Rishab's dad started talking about his marriage which Rishab detested to the core. It is not that Rishab was planning to die single but he wanted to tie knot with a girl who was as Rishabish as him. He wanted a love marriage and unfortunately MK or better Mohan Kundra put forth a deal to Rishab stating he had to find the girl for him within 2 yrs or else Rishab was bound to accept the girl of his dad's choice. Rishab knowing his dad's weird tastes from eating Noodles with chilli powder to porridge with sauce defied the idea of taking risk by marrying his dad's choice. But alas God was not with him as he was not able to capture the girl who won his heart though he along with his 3 friends had almost roamed throughout the streets searching for a bride for their friend. And today was the end of their deal day and Rishab knew his doomsday was near. "Why don't you marry me?" came the sudden sound and Rishab tried hard not to wail at his fate of Dipali offering to marry him. Dipali pouted seeing his face and was about to say something but Sulthan said, "Good idea Dipali. Rishab do you want me to sign your register marriage?" he asked too innocently and Rishab muttered, "I will happy if you sign my death certificate". Mukund said calmly, "Dipali how many times should I say that Rishab doesn't love you?" Dipali's eyes narrowed, "Why? I am more than good for him", she said with pride and Rishab came to her and said holding her hands, "Dipali my darling please don't kill me more by your not so sensible words. I just have 2 hours more to figure out a plan to escape my marriage with some weirdo". Dipali raised her chin indignantly and sat there crossing his hands across her chest.

After 2 hrs MK walked into his son's room and saw all of them sleeping soundly in a not so comfortable position obviously tired after a serious discussion. He shook his head and went out switching off the lights so as not to disturb their sleep. The next day Rishab saw himself sitting in their car along with Sulthan who was still covering his lips with his palms so as not to let Rishab witness his curving lips while Mukund saw him apologetically. Rishab closed his eyes and rested his head on the car seat trying to have a peaceful sleep for the rest of the journey as he knew he was sure this was going to be his final happy sleep before his purgatory cum marriage. Rishab heard the churning of anklets and he raised his eyes from a bending position to finally see the person who was going to shackle him. His night sky black eyes met with a shy smiling chocolate brown eyes and the next second he felt his lap burning hot and jumped up realising that the girl had slipped the coffee onto him. "Oye Madhu can't you be careful? See what you have done to your pati", chided an old man's voice and Rishab looked stunned PATI? God! And he cussed hearing Sulthan's muffled laughter. "Go take him to the wash room", said a man who may be her dad. Rishab wanted to reject the offer but his burning lap was not helping and he followed her silently.

"If you marry me I will pour hot oil instead of coffee", she said and Rishab turned stunned to see her fuming at him. Gone were the smile and shyness in her eyes and Rishab looked momentarily stepping back seeing her anger but then he said sharply, "Excuse me". "What cuse me luse me? Huh? See tell that you don't want this marriage else I will mix chilli powder in the hot water and pour it in your eyes. You get that?" she asked making him to grow more furious with each passing second.'How dare this mere uneducated village girl dare to take that tone and threaten Rk? The Rk?' "Hey hello do you know who you are talking with?" he asked showing attitude and she said, "Oye I am Madhubala. I do what I like and also I know how to make others do it. You get that? Now go and say that you are not interested in this marriage". Rishab lost his patience, "Oh really now you are telling me what I should do? Listen you stupid girl", he started and she said menacingly, "Dare you call me stupid. I will break all the eggs on your dirty head". Rishab saw her with the weirdest expression that his face could conjure, "Why don't you reject the marriage by yourself?" he asked unable to hide his curiosity.

"Ah my baba will feel bad. And I need not explain to you my issues of why I don't like to marry and go away leaving my baba." He noted that innocently she had given the reason of her rejection to this marriage. So she wanted to be with her dad rather than leave him alone. But Rishab's admiration for her love towards her father was short lived as she said, "Else why am I going to be waiting to show my face to a prick like you?" Before he could snap back he heard footsteps and instantly her expression turned soft and innocent within a blink of a second and then he saw her dad, "Aree beta what are you both doing this long? We all are waiting for you both but here you both are talking to each other", he added with a cheeky smile and Rishab's jaws dropped to see her blushing and replying meekly, "Ji baba". But before she went back she turned back to him and gave a warning glare as though to remind him he had not dreamt the past scene. When they both came back Mk asked, "So Madhu do you like our Rishab?" and adding fuel to his anger she nodded blushing slightly and saw him under her lashes. What was she a witch on broom?' he wondered and then turned back to the elders. He was not going to chicken out. If he was going to hell let him take her as well' he thought and said, "Dad I am glad to marry her". And it was decided that they would be married in 2 weeks until then they had to stay in the same village.

Sulthan sat there with his eyes going rounder and larger as Rishab narrated the entire incident in the washroom. Mukund said thoughtfully, "But we thought she would be meek seeing her gestures" and Rishab nodded vehemently, "All that was just a facade dude. You should have seen that witch when she warned me to pour hot oil", he said and his body shuddered involuntarily thinking of the possibility. "You sure you took the right decision? I mean there is no point in doing this when it is obvious it is not the thing which either of you wants", asked Mukund but Rishab had made the decision; "I will show her. I will show her what it means to mess with Rk", he said fuming and Sulthan rolled his eyes, "Careful dude I guess even the Rk doesn't stand a chance against chilli powder". Rk kicked him which he returned back and Mukund tried to break them and as a result all 3 were one over the other like kinder garden students fighting in mud but it broke with the sound of a gasp and they all stood up immediately to see Madhu standing there with her mouth hanging open. "You all are together?" she asked scandalously and Rishab failed to notice her horror, "So? Have any trouble?" he asked conceited and she shook her head vigorously, "Chi chi chi how could you. Yuck. Yes I have heard some stupid problem with the city guys as some of them show such different type of interest", she said disgusted. They all stood bemused and Sulthan asked, "What type of interest?" Madhu said scrunching her nose, "Like you 3. I mean they are interested in boys than girls" and that did it all the 3 guys shouted in unison, "Shut up", realising she was accusing them all of being gays. She ran out immediately as though she was chased by leeches and Sulthan told incredulously, "Dude if this continues she will make sure all 3 of us never gets married in this life time". Even Mukund seemed stunned but then she came again poking her head in, "But I don't understand Reeshab, why are you with 2 boys at the same time?" and Rishab threw the pillow at her making her to run away again.

Next day Mk called all the 3 friends down Rishab wondered what the problem was, "What is it dad?" he asked and Mk said, "Madhu has some issue". Rishab saw her confused, "You have?" suspecting if she had at last got the nerve to tell everyone by herself that she was not ready to marry him. But the bomb exploded by the next instant, "Chachaji your son is living with the 2 boys who are with him", she said pointing her index finger towards Sulthan and Mukund and all 3 guys felt like dropping dead at the same instant as MK alone burst out laughing while the other villagers saw them with disgusting eyes, "No dear you are mistaken. Mukund is engaged to his lover Trishna and Sulthan is currently dating a girl called Simmi so I guess all three guys are pretty straight", explained MK. All the people sighed with relief while Rishab swore to make her life a living hell.

The next day Rishab and all his friends were taken to the village pond by one of the servant of Madhu's baba or Balraj chowdry. But once they reached near Rishab said to the guy, "You go we will bath and then wander out for some time and reach home by lunch". The guy obliged and went away and all the 3 friends started to get down, "Dude whatever I should say this village is really beautiful", commented Sulthan. Rishab nodded while Mukund added, "Don't worry Sulthan if you like you can come here whenever you want. After all it is the sasural of our Rishu", and Rishab shoved him into the pond and dived following him. Sulthan watched them and said, "hey wait for me and he jumped following them. The 3 friends had some nice time with under water swimming and swinging one among them into the water. After a while they went to explore the village and they roamed through the fields and farms. They had a very nice time mocking each other and most of the time pulling Rishab's leg about how his would be wife would add salt to his coffee if that is what she had to do for threatening Rishab and to make him back off.

But suddenly they heard the giggling sound of girls and Sulthan whistled, "Wow village beauty", and they turned in their direction but Mukund said, "Ha ha really funny even that girl Madhubala belongs to this same village. Don't forget." They both were busy taunting each other and they failed to recognise that one of them had gone silent. Rishab didn't know why but he kept staring at Madhu who was indeed in that group. She had let her hair free without being plated which she usually did and the wind was playing with her hair making it blow like waves of an ocean. She had carelessly laid a towel on her shoulder and was laughing at something her friends told and Rishab couldn't help but drown in the musical laughter of her. She playfully caught someone's ear and when she beat her back she ran away around the group of girls and she was so full of life without that anger and witch avatar which she reserved only for Rishab. Rishab's lips curved unknowingly when he saw her pulling her tongue out at her friend and she said, "Ok you go I will come after bathing in the pond". Her friends told her not to be late and she waved, "This is my kingdom so don't worry I will be alright". Rishab chuckled hearing the brave voice of her and he saw her moving away.

Sulthan and Mukund were busy talking about their girl friends when they heard Rishab hurriedly telling, "I guess I missed my purse at the pond. You guys go back don't wait for me. I will join you", and before they could respond he was gone. They both saw him weirdly and shrug their shoulders before walking back towards the home. Rishab stalked her silently and he repeatedly kept an eye behind his back just to make sure no one else followed them. As he was a safe distance away from her she didn't hear him and also his shoe helping to muffle the footsteps. He didn't know why he had that sudden urge to follow her but he felt he would be losing the world's best feeling if he let her out of his sight. He saw her nearing the pond and she instinctively saw around just to make sure no one was following. He his himself behind a tree and when he was sure she had turned her back he peeped from behind the tree and unfortunate to him she had her face to him and he pulled back instantly. She suddenly felt she was being watched and she saw around her. But she didn't hear a sound or see anything but still she was wary and so she decided to make sure. Even though she saw repeatedly she found no one but still she was feeling creepy and so she decided to bath with her dress and she threw her new dress and towel on the ground making way towards the pond. Rishab cursed himself as he knew it was totally immoral and disgusting to watch a girl bath but still he couldn't sustain the urge and he peeped once again and he groaned frustrated when he saw her going inside fully dressed.
