Zoya freshened up quickly and joined Dilshad who was now in the kitchen.. .She was now in her favourite blue Jeans and white shirt..

Zoya : Good Morning Poophi aap kya bana rahi hai ? Main apki help karoon ?

Dilshad smiled at her.. : Good Morning Zoya... Nayi jagah.. I hope tumhe neend acchi tarah se ayi...Mein soch rahi thi kya banaoo ? Aaj to humare ghar mein teen teen mehman jo hain...

Zoya : Poophi.. aap kudh khana banati hain kya ?? Maine suna tha.. ki bade bade ghar mein sab kaam keliye maid hote hain...??

Dilshad : Agar sab maid karenge.. to mein moti ho jaoongi... aur waise yeh mera ghar hain.. to mein chati hoon ki khana mein hi pakaoon...

Zoya : Poophi aaj na aap.. aaram kijiye.. mein aaj aapko kuch banakar khilathi hoon...batayiyen aap kya khana pasand karegi ??

Dilshad : Tum jo chahe woh banao beta... Agar koi help chahiye.. to muje bata dena...

Zoya : Poophi mein sab karloongi.. aap chaliye.. and she dragged her to the drawing room and handed over the news paper to her ... Aaap newspaper padiye.. mein breakfast ready hone ke baad bulaoongi.. bas ek ghante mein sab tayyar hojayega...

By the time all the men in the house got ready and joined the ladies at the dining table, it was beautifully set ...with paneer paratha, muli paratha, dahi, achar and also pudina chutney... In addition to this, there was a jug of fresh straw berry shake and another one full of orange juice...along with a tea pot full of hot coffee...

Rashid : Good Morning Everybody.. Aaj to breakfast bahut hi tasty lag raha hain... ?? Thanks Zoya beta...

Zoya : Ji Shukriya.. aapne humari madath ki hain.. itna to kar sakti hoon mein !!

Dilshad: Aise math kaho Zoya.. yeh bhi apna hi ghar samjo...!!

Asad was happy looking at the table which was set.. He very well knew that his ammi would have not opted to prepare parathas for breakfast.. but for a change he was fine with it..

Ayaan : Wow.. subah subah.. paneer paratha... Zoya tum janti ho mere pasand ko.. yeh mere liye banayi hain na ?? Dekh kar mu mein pani aa raha hain...

Asad got a little upset with Ayaan's comments and he was more upset when Zoya did not reply back anything to what Ayaan said...

Dilshad : Waise.. sab bait jao.. Asad ka pasand muli paratha hain.. kyun Asad kush ho na ??

Asad : Ji ammi. Khane ke baad hi patha chalega kaisa bana hain ?? for which he expected Zoya to tell something but NO.. she preferred not to respond...

The parathas were indeed very tasty and everybody were enjoying having it...

Ronak : Zoya.. itne saal se hum dost hain.. muje patha hi nahin tha..ki itni acchi cook ho.. ab to mein har Sunday tumhare ghar hi ajaoonga..

Zoya : Nahin...

Ronak : Arre.. yaar.. kyun ??

Ayaan : Woh to sirf mereliye banayegi...

Zoya: stop it Ayaan !!

Dilshad : Kyun tum dono is bacchi ko tang kar rahe ho ??

Ronak : Aunty.. aap ise bacchi.. kehrahi hain ?? Yeh to hum sab ki daadi hain... !!

Dilshad : Matlab kya hain Ronak ??

Ronak : Badnaseeb se hum iske bachpan ke dost hain.. iske saamne kisi ladki ko ched nahi sakte... aur ladkiyon se baat bhi thezeeb se karni chahiye.. nahin to iska lecture shuru hojata hain... ise koi boy friend milta nahin aur hum dono ko bhi koi girl friend milne nahin deti hain...

Zoya : oh Really Ronak ?? !! Teek hain.. aaj se .. balki abhi se.. mein tumhare saath nahin aa rahi hoon.. katti hoon tumse !!

Ayaan and Ronak hi-fied.. and started laughing...

Zoya : Ayaan tum bhi.. ?? She got up angrily and walked out...

Ayaan : Ronak.. ab Zoya gussa hogayi.. na jane kitne din lagega manane ko...

Dilshad : Ayaan.. Ronak.. tum dono ka kya plan hain ?? Asad... jao beta.. Zoya ko bulake lao...

Rashid : Dilshad.. muje kuch kaam hain..mein bahar ja raha hoon.. shaam saath me chalte hain.. Tanveer ke nikaah pe...and he excused himself...

Ayaan : Aunty.. kuch plan kiya nahin hain... Waise ab Zoya bhi naraz hain.. shayad woh kahi nahin ayegi...

Dilshad : Tum jante nahi ho mere Asad ko... Woh Zaroor manakar Zoya ko andar leke ayega...

Ronak : Aap jante nahin hain Aunty.. Lagi sharth ??

Dilshad : Ok fine.. Agar mein jeeth thi hoon.. to Zoya mere saath bahar jayegi...and she was excited and hoping that her son would get Zoya back...

Ayaan : Bas dus minute ka time hain aunty...

In the Lawn...

Zoya was very angry with her friends for making fun of her infront of Asad's family.. She thought that as usual Ayaan would come over to tell sorry and convince her... She heard foot steps ...

Zoya : Ayaan.. is baar tumhara sorry nahin chalega.. and she turned around to find Asad who was literally behind her and she was shocked seeing him and was about to fall back...but Asad held her tightly ...

Asad : Ayaan nahin.. Asad...and he kept on looking at her beautiful eyes..

Zoya : I am sorry.. woh Ayaan aur Ronak..

Asad : That's ok... Aap naraz to nahin hain na ??

She was still in the same position..making her feel uncomfortable...She looked at his hands around her...

Zoya : Please...

Asad realized and made her stand straight.. His thoughts : Is ladki ko dekhte hi.. kyun sab bhool jata hoon...

Asad : Aap andar chaliye...

Zoya : Nahin.. mein nahin aoongi... Mein un dono se naraz hoon...ab un dono ko sorry bolke.. kaan pakdna hain.. baad mein sochungi..

This brought a smile on his face...

Asad : Ammi teek kehti hain.. aap sach mein bachi hain...Chaliye.. warna uthake jana padega...

Zoya : Sorry ?? Dekhiye.. mein aap ko teek tarah se janti bhi nahin hoon.. aur aap mere saath aise baath kaise kar sakthe hain ??

Asad thoughts : Inke dost bhi teek kehte hain.. ab yeh sach mein daadi jaise baath karnelagi.. and he started rubbing his forehead.. with a smile on his face...and before he could speak anything else, he saw her running inside the house...

Dilshad, Ayaan and Ronak were eagerly waiting looking at their watch..

Ayaan : Aunty ab to sirf do minute hain... Zoya nahin ayegi.. aap bet haar gayi ..

but before he could complete his sentence, Zoya walked in .. which brought a smile on Dilshad's face...

Dilshad looked at Ayaan with her eye brows up.. and a smile...Zoya was followed by Asad...

Ronak : Zoya.. tum itni jaldi maan kaise gayi.. humein to tum kum se kum do teen din pareshan karti ho...sorry kehkar tak jate hain.. phir bhi nahin manti kabhi kabhi...Aisa kya kehdiya Asad ne ??

Zoya looked at Asad who still had a hidden smile on his face... She preferred to ignore Ronak's question...

Dilshad : Zoya... Kya tum humare saath shopping chalogi...?? Mumbai bhi dikhati hoon...

Zoya : Shukriya poophi.. lekin... and she saw her friends...She usually would not speak to them so easily after being angry with them.. but now she had no choice...

Zoya : Ayaan.. Ronak.. chaloge kya ?? Shruthi ka phone aya ??

Ayaan : Zoya.. Shruthi.. Tanveer ke saath busy hain.. Mein aur Ronak bhi wahan jake athe hain.. Tum bore ho jaogi na.. to tum aunty ke saath shopping jake ajaoo.. aur hum sab shaam ko saath mein nikaaah pe jathe hain...

Zoya : Ayaan.. Are you sure ?? Ronak ??

Ronak : Haan daadi ma... ab tum jao.. aur humein bhi jane do...

Dilshad : Kya humara driver tayyar hain.. ?? humare saath chalne ??

Ayaan : Asad.. aap to Tanseer ke acche dost hain na..to aap bhi humare saath chaliye.. aunty aur Zoya ke saath apka driver chala jayega...

Ayaan's thoughts " Arre.. ab yeh bhi Zoya ke saath jayega.. muje aunty ke saath bet karna hi nahin chahiye tha... Anyways.. bas do din ki baat hain.. baad mein hum Bhopal chalejayenge..."

Asad : Woh Actually.. Functions..muje bhi zyada pasand nahin.. to mein hi ammi ke saath chala jatha hoon.. aap do no driver ke saath chalejayiye...

So Ayaan and Ronak left first.. .. Asad thanked his ammi mentally to give him another opportunity to spend time with Zoya..

Asad : Ammi mein change karke atha hoon..

Since he had seen Zoya in white shirts since morning, he thought may be that was her favourite colour and he also picked up his white shirt and wore it...

As they were getting into the car, Dilshad got a call and she looked worried...

Dilshad over the phone : Ji.. woh busy hain.. aap please manage kijiye.. mein dekh thi hoon..

Dilshad : Asad.. Zoya.. sorry.. muje kuch zaroori kaam hain.. muje jana hoga.. aap do no ghoomke aao.. aur Zoya.. ghabraneki koi baat nahin.. mera Asad accha baccha hain...

Zoya : Nahin poophi.. its ok.. agar aap busy hain to ..

Dilshad : Nahin.. maine promise kiya tha.. tumhe Mumbai dikhane.. ab Asad leke jayega... please...

Zoya : Teek hain poophi...

Asad got into his car and since Dilshad was not with her now.. Zoya had to sit in the front seat along with him...

Dilshad was worried after getting the call.. The call was from Tanveer's mother.. Tanveer had created a scene.. She wanted Asad to join her in the marriage hall.. Dilshad was not happy when Asad and Tanseer's friendship had got him introduced to Tanveer... But Dilshad had seen that Asad never been close to any female and she like any other mother wanted her son to get married and settled down.. Though Dilshad knew that Tanveer would not be an ideal bahu to her, she had not tried to force her thoughts to Asad.. Just in case he liked her.. but luckily Asad had rejected the offer when Tanseer had got his sister's proposal..

Flash back

She remembered the conversation between Asad and Tanseer in her house few months back..

Asad to Tanseer : Tanseer.. I am so sorry.. tum acche dost ho.. lekin hum kabhi rishtedhar nahin ban sakte hain.. Mein Tanveer se nikaah nahin kar sakta hoon..

Tanseer : Lekin Kyun Asad ??

Tanveer : Asad.. kya hum khoosurat nahin hain ?? Aap Tanseer aur humare acche dost hain na ?? Aap yakeen maniye.. mein aap ko hamesha khush rakoongi..

Asad : Tanseer.. Tanveer.. Dekhiye.. mera decision final hain.. Ammi aur Abbu mere faisle ke khilaaf kuch nahin kahenge.. please time waste math karo...and he had walked away leaving Tanveer and Tanseer with a disappointed look...

End of Flash back...

Dilshad decided to go and meet Tanveer and put some sense to her.. She was getting married to Salim now.. and Asad had clearly mentioned that he was not interested in her.. but still why she could not understand why this girl was after her son ??

Asad's car

Asad was very happy to have Zoya next to him but he did not know where to take her nor how to pull her to a conversation... She was just looking out of the window on the other side...

Asad : Zoya.. aap kahan jana chathi hain ??

Zoya : Aap shayad bhool gaye.. mein Mumbai pehli baar ayi hoon...

Asad : hmm.. ok mein decide kartha hoon.. chaliye.. mein aapko beach pe le jata hoon.. Is that fine with you ??

Zoya : Ji...

The rest of the journey was in silence.. After reaching the beach, Zoya was very happy to see the waves.. she ran towards the water.. Since it was a Sunday, many families had come over to enjoy their time.. A couple along with two small children were playing with balloons... Zoya joined them and started playing.. Asad was happy to look at her.. She had become a child among the children... The joy seen on her face was genuine.. There was no sort of mask in it... Her hairs were flying as the wind was blowing and she was looking very pretty in that atmosphere...

Zoya realized that Asad was also with her.. She felt bad now.. She walked up to him..

Zoya : I am sorry.. mein aapko bhool gayi thi.. Aap bhi ayiye.. bahut maza ayega...

Asad : Nahin Zoya shukriya.. mein aise hi teek hoon.. aap kheliye...

By then the children who were playing with her came running to her requesting her to join .. The couple also came over...

Lady : Kya hua bhaisaab.. Aapki patni se naraz hein kya ?? Woh itne pyaar se bula rahi hain.. aur aap mana kar rahein hain...

Guy : Haan bhaisaab chaliyee...

Asad was hesitant.. but since the children also started requesting, he joined them... It was fun.. After sometime that family excused and moved to have corn.. but Zoya was still enjoying the waves and happy to just watch it..

Asad : Zoya..hum bhi chalte hain !!

Zoya : Do minute please... Asad obliged and he also stood.. He got a call so he walked back few steps to answer his call...

In a fraction of a second , there was a huge wave which hit Zoya and she fell down.. pulling her inside... As Asad turned around, he was shocked to witness this... He ignored his call and ran towards Zoya.. He jumped in and luckily.. Zoya was not pulled into the water much.. She had lost her consciousness.. He picked her up gently in his arms and got her to the shore..

Asad : Zoya.. utho.. please utho...

No response..

He tried to press her back in case she had swallowed excess water.. He rubbed her hands and looked at her face.. He was worried.. Since she was not responding, he thought should he try to give mouth to mouth respiration...?? He looked down at her mouth.. Even in that condition she was looking very beautiful.. He bent down and just then Zoya opened her eyes...and looking at him in that position, she got really angry...

Zoya : Aap yeh kya kar rahein hain ??

Asad : Actually aap pani ke andar chali gayi thi.. isliye...

Zoya : Aapne muje bachaya.. aur isliye aap ne socha ki aapki us lambi girl friend ki list mein ek aur... ??

Asad got really angry to know what she thought about him...but still he controlled his anger...

Asad : Dekhiye.. aap muje galat samaj rahi hain.. muje koi explanation nahin dena hain.. agar aap samaj thi hain.. ki meri girl friends ki list lambi hain.. to mein bhi wo list dekhna chatha hoon... and he gave a deadly glare at her and walked away..

Zoya looked at Asad walking away.. A tear drop fell from her eyes... She did not know what was right or wrong.. She very well knew that the waves had pulled her into the water and since she did not know how to swim, she was scared and in that fraction of a second she had tried calling him and after that she did not remember what happened..

Zoya's thoughts : Shayad maine over react kiya.. unhone muje marne se bachaya.. aur shayad muje behosh dekh kar.. meri saans dekhna chathe the.. aur meine unhe galat samja.. ?? Shruti ki baat sunkar muje Asad ke barein mein aisa raay karna nahin chahiye tha...ab mein kya karoon ?? ya allah meri madat kijiye...

She slowly stood up and dusted her clothes since sand was sticking on to her.. She saw around.. but she could not find Asad anywhere.. She slowly walked towards the car parking...

Asad had felt like going away from her after hearing her accusation but he knew that it would be difficult for her to find her way back home and it was not correct on his part as she was now his responsibility till he handed her over to her friends...He got into his car and was sitting waiting for her.. When he saw her coming, he took his car and stopped near her... without telling anything...

Zoya understood that he was angry and looking at his face, she did not have the courage to speak anything.. she swallowed the lump which formed in her throat and stood without getting into his car looking at him... Asad's patience was also running out.. He just increased his engine sound.. to put across the message that he was waiting.. She slowly opened the front door and sat ...once in a while glancing at him.. She tried speaking but her lips just moved and voice did not come out.. Finally they reached home without any talks between them...

Dilshad had returned by then and she had a worried look and sitting when Asad walked in..

Dilshad : Asad.. Zoya kahan hain beta ?? but Asad did not respond.. He just walked into his room and closed his door.. with a bang..

Zoya got down from the car and she was hesitant whether to go in or not.. As she was lost in her thoughts, Dilshad came to her...

Dilshad : Zoya.. kya hua beta... tum aise kyun khadi ho ??aur Asad ko kya hua ?? Tum dono ke beech jagda hua kya ?? aur tumhare kapde gheele kaise hue...??

Zoya : Poophi.. woh beech gayethe.. aur mein pani ke andhar chali gayi thi.. Asad ne muje bachaya..

Dilshad : Ya allah.. Tum teek to ho beta.. and she came and hugged her...

Zoya : Ji poophi...

Dilshad : Lekin Asad naraz kyun hain ??

Zoya : Poophi .. aap please unse kuch math poochiye.. meri galti thi.. maine unhe kuch sunadiyaa.. mein maafi maangloongi.. Sorry poophi..

Dilshad : Teek hain beta.. ab aao.. phele dress change karo.. aur araam karo...

Zoya went to her room and changed.. but still she was very disturbed...She had to say sorry to him.. but she did not have the courage to go and speak to him...

Asad's room

Asad was very angry.. He hit the wall of his room but still his anger was not down.. He removed his shirt and threw it across the room.. The white shirt which he had happily worn couple of hours back was lying now fully neglected...He took out his boxing gloves and tied the punching bag and started hitting it .. till he was exhausted... Her words were still echoing in his ears..

Asad's thoughts : woh mere barein mein aise kaise soch sakti hain.. hum ek dusre ko jante bhi nahin the itne din.. shayad kisine unse kuch kaha hoga... Kaun hosakta hain.. Tanveer ya Shruthi ??

Ayaan and Ronak also returned and they also wanted to rest for a while before getting ready to attend Tanveer's nikaah...

In the evening, everybody got ready and came out to the drawing room but Asad had still locked himself in his room...Zoya also noticed it and she was going on looking at his door again and again..

Dilshad : Asad.. aao beta.. hum sab tayyaar hain.. tum bhi ajao..

Asad : Ammi.. aap sab chaliye.. mein baad mein aoonga..

Dilshad : Asad... wahan se hazar baar phone aa chuka hain.. chalo beta...

Asad: Ammi.. please.. aaap sab chaliye.. mein ajaoonga...

Dilshad knew how adamant her son could be.. so she thought it was better to leave..

Dilshad : Rashid.. chaliye.. hum sab chalte hain..

Ayaan noticed that Zoya was not in her usual moods..

Ayaan : Zoya.. kya baat hain ?? Kisine kuch kaha kya ?? Udaas kyun ho ??

Zoya : Kuch nahin Ayaan.. Pheli baar Bhopal se bahar ayi hoon na.. isliye...teek hoon chalo...

Dilshad was happy to see the response from Zoya..

Marriage Hall :

When Rashid and family reached , Tanveer was eagerly waiting for them.. She saw Zoya and Dilshad entering and behind them Rashid, Ayaan and Ronak.. She was angry since the previous night to know that her friends had stayed at Asad's place.. the opportunity which she never got so far... She noticed that Asad was missing and even though she wanted to see him badly, she was happy to see that he was not with Zoya...

Zoya excused herself from Dilshad and went to meet Tanveer and Shruthi...

Tanveer : Zoya.. tum Asad ke ghar kyun gayi ??

Zoya : Tanveer.. tumhare bhai ne bataya nahi kya ki hum wahan kyun gaye ??

Tanveer : Sorry.. lekin tumhe Asad se door rehana hain...

Shruthi : Zoya meine bataya na.. ki tumhe us admi se door rehana hain.. woh Tanveer ke saath flirt karke.. chod diya.. tum bahut hi bholi ho..

Zoya : Shruti.. please.. bina us insaan ko jaane tum aisi baat kaise kar sakti ho ??

Tanveer: Yeh lo.. ab yeh bhi fus gayi..

Zoya : Tanveer.. mein fusi nahi hoon.. bas itna kehna cha rahi hoon. Ki bina kuch jane kisike barein mein aise baath karni nahi chahiye...

Dilshad had come to speak to Tanveer and she heard the entire conversation between the 3 ladies.. and she now vaguely understood what could have happened between Asad and Zoya...She did not want to tell anything to Tanveer now fearing if Zoya would mis understand again.. but she did not forget to give Tanveer a disgusting look before walking out ...

Zoya also excused herself and she came out of the room.. The nikaah ceremony had started but she was not very much interested.. She was eagerly waiting for Asad.. She had to tell him sorry.. and he could not make her wait like this...

On the other hand, though Asad was not in the mood to attend the nikaah, he decided to go since Tanveer was repeatedly ringing up to him since morning..

Asad reached the marriage hall.. He was in a black suit and white shirt..He was greeted by Tanseer.. How much ever hard he tried not to think about her , his eyes started searching for her.. She was back at her usual place alone gazing the moon.. She was wearing a white and gold saree.. looking like a fairy on earth... She had left her hair loose but her face looked pale and sad...For a second he felt like going and speaking to her but he was adamant.. He had decided not to speak to her.. and it required lot of effort from him to take his eyes off her...and he was successful in doing it.. !!
