That's not to say that he is not attracted to her, he is, almost beyond his control, but he may not have completely lost sight of any ulterior motive he has if at all the cvs want him to have one.

Edit: Finally got a chance to watch the episode. Today was definitely one of the best episodes and was such a relief to see them both so happy. Please Ekta, spare this one show and dont take usual path of fake love, apology from hero, then pursuing her till she gives in. 🤢Its been done to death and will give us the worst migraine. Not to mention very very unrealistic for an emperor even by your standards.

Bold : Is there one Ekta show where we've not seen this? Maybe PR...Also going by the soul talk in Ajmer, am thinking probably not, but this Jalaal does scare me from time to time...

As for Jalaal playing Jodha, its only a speculation and it may or may not be true. What am saying is that this tool is often used to bring in conflict , drama, grey shades , redemption and cleansing. And it works, because its often completely in sync with the player's character. Its basically a human being losing a game of heart which he believes he has won by the mind. When that love is lost, he is hit with the reality that he cannot design his feelings, his fate or his relationship with the prey/lover.

And not to forget at all. EK is the INVENTOR of this famous mind versus heart arc. Besides, the creatives have made no lofty promises of love... YET. They have kept everything open.

True...the CVs have left both ways open. Jalal's expressions give nothing away either. His expressions in yesterday's epi did have a hungry glint in them! Either way it goes...we can't say there weren't hints of the same..Lets see how EK takes it(keeping hope that its not fake)..
