1st anniversaries are always special for a couple lost in love. They are meant to be inseparable. Every moment with them gives you a moment to cherish, good and bad times, they have been through but nothing could lessen their love for each other. Each moment spent with the person you love the most in the world helps you learn better about them, helps you accept them the way they are, you learn to respect that person for who they are and take a pride in them when they do not fear to be themselves in front of you and in front of the world. We do not know what life has to offer so we should learn to make the most of it and nothing can be more important than telling that one person who rules your heart how much they mean to you and how much you love them, reminding them every moment that they belong to you but some small lillte gestures which makes them feel special and most importantly keeps them happy and you can always witness their smiling faces, for which you'd fight against the whole world.

I Sharon Rai Prakash... I'm what do they say... completely whipped. Im head over heels and heels over head in love with Swayam Shekhawat. It's been a year since Swayam and I got into a relationship, since he fulfilled his promise of making me fall in love with him. He's been the perfect boy friend ever since, always makes me feel special, cheers my mood, teases me, annoys the living hell out of me but he still loves me. And this totally handsome and adorable boy is only mine. I can't help but feel proud at the thought.
I need to make tomorrow really special for Swayam, I need to make it a perfect day for him and I need to start by buying a perfect gift for him.
What can I give him??? I was tired thinking, I was frustrated, I have been in the mall since afternoon and I couldn't find him anything close to my liking forget about it being perfect.
I really wonder how Swayam manages to give me some super awesome perfect surprises. Ignoring the fact that Swayam hates taking anything from me, (he says he has everything when I'm beside him. I know that sounds so cheesy, but I fell for those cheesy lines in the first place) I really need to get something for him.

I know what exactly I want to gift him, and I know he'll love it. I'm just awesome.
I couldn't help but do a happy mental dance at the moment imagining swayam's reaction when he will see my gift.
Now Swayam Shekhawat, be ready for my perfect surprise, this will be the perfect moment when I can prove to you how much I love you.
I know I don't have to prove anything but it makes me feel guilty when I don't do special things for him often.

Just when I made an impressive entry I heard a creepy sound, I realized it was the door which disrturbed my plan, stupid door for making some stupid sound. I managed to reach swayam's room with the gift placed safely inside my pocket. I went in only to find the bed empty, shit, where on earth was Swayam at this hour of the night? Why isn't he in bed?
I was angry more over disappointed. All my plans and mental happy dance went down the drain. I went and sat on his bed resting my chin between both my hands when I felt an arm wrapping around my waist protectively, making my back collide into someone's chest. I could feel his presence behind me and turned immediately with such a speed which could put all the super heroes in the world to shame. My lips automatically smiled and I could feel joy in each part within me. He smiled back and leaned forward to press his lips against mine only for a second or two but I could still feel the butterflies and firecrackers exploding within me and I felt this because of his touch on me. Only this guy, only he can make me feel this way and I loved it to an extent when he didn't tease me.
"Hey jaan" he whispered in my ear.
"Hi" I managed to say.
He pulled me close to him, my face rested in his chest and his chin on my head. I wrapped my arms around him pulling him closer to me taking in his scent. He kissed my hair before pulling away.
He looked around his room and suddenly turned towards me and leaned closer. He rested his forehead against mine and whispered,
"Happy anniversary jaan" and before I could reply he covered the distance between us and I felt him smile against my lips in between our kiss. At that moment I felt amazing, out of the world... he made me feel that I belonged only to him and that he was mine. It was only after 5 seconds when we pulled away
"I love you" he said
I smiled my eyes drowning into his where I could see my reflection. But then something struck me, it was then realization dawned upon me and I smacked his arm.
"Ow" he screamed
"What was that for?" he asked with a glint of hurt in his voice.
"You... you stupid...You moron... you..."
"Ahh I see, not finding words to describe me, mind if I help you?" he smirked
"I hate you" and I turned my back towards him.
"Jaan"
I remained quiet
"Princess"
NO, I won't answer him
"Baby"
Ha! Silence serves him right
He came and hugged me from behind and whispered "Sorry jaan, but I think im confused here, I demand to know my mistake"
I turned to face him
"You spoilt my surprise for crying out loud"
His giggle irritating me more
"Im sorry but if you decided to sneak into my room you should have tried better, you know" and he winked.
"You could have atleast pretended..."
"Sorry"
Aww he looked so cute right now, all my anger melted and I hugged him
"Its okay" I mumbled into his shirt
"I knew you couldn't stay away from me" he giggled pulling me closer to him.
I pulled away from our awesome hug.
"Swayam close your eyes"
And believe it or not, for the 1st time he listened to me. May be he didn't want to upset me anymore. I gave myself a mental pat on my shoulder.
I carefully pulled out the gift from my pocket and stood infront of him and asked him to open his eyes. His eyes buldged out in surprise when he saw my gift.
"NO WAY" he screamed
I felt disappointment wallow my heart when I heard those words reach my ears. I thought he'd like it but his reaction says something else. I wish I could make him happy for once atleast, like he always makes me happy.
And before I could think anymore Swayam embraced me into another warm and loving hug of his.
"I love you jaan"
"Uh... Swayam" I uttered confused.
One moment he screams like he has seen some ghost and the next moment he tells me that he loves me. Wait! Am I missing out something? Im so confused.
Swayam pulled away and ran to his cupboard and pulled out something from inside. He came back to me and held out his hand in front of me. To say I was surprised was an understatement.
"OH MY GOD, really" I squealed and he nodded his head.
"Promise ring" both of us said at the same time and smiled whole-heartedly.
I don't believe this; we both got each other exactly the same gifts- a promise ring.
He took my hand and slipped the ring into my figner and I did the same.
"I..." I covered his mouth asking him to stop. I wanted to do it first and this time I wasn't going to let him do the deed first and spoil my plans.
"I Sharon Rai Prakash, your super awesome girl friend promises to stand by you through every phase of life, promising to love you all the time and make you smile. I promise that one day ill marry you and become yours in all senses. I promise to stay with you forever although I have no idea how long this forever will be. I promise to love only one man in this entire world and that man will be only Swayam Shekhawat."
He was speechless. He kept looking at me and amiled at me. He held both my hands in his hands and kissed them. He took one of my hands and placed it close to his chest.
"Can you feel this?" he asked me
I nodded feeling his heartbeat against his chest
"It beats only for you and it will beat only for you forever. I Swayam shekhawat promises to hold your hand and walk with you your walk of life. I promise to love only you and only you. I promise one day that I will replace this promise ring with our engagement ring. I promise to marry you one day. I promise to be with you forever. I love you."
I felt tears brimming in my eyes. I was so lucky to have someone like Swayam in my life. He helped me lead the right path of my life and im happy that he kept his promise of making me fall for him hard. Without him I have no idea where my life will stand, where I would stand. Now is the time to keep my promise, a promise to hold his hand under all circumstances. My promise to love him.
