It's a task. She was there to win too, as were the opposing team. She was clearly surprised at the whole water pouring thing, but obv she wanted to stay to win, no matter how much she cribbed. Anybody who knows the game would have done what she did
1) her other teammates being rather useless had abandoned her and she knew even if she stayed in the box for a long time her team might lose but she would definitely be awarded somehow
2) she threw a tantrum, perhaps because she truly was afraid and was suffocating OR she did it as a gimmick
3) she knew she'd look slicker if she still stayed in the box despite complaining to prove to the others in the house and the audience her resilience. Now again, she's a good player so this could have been for TV purposes
