"I am happy doing cameos" - Priya Wal
Priya Wal aka Anvesha of Remix is one of the few actors who prefers not to be a part of daily soaps. The reason is that she thinks that the daily soaps have huge doses of drama added in them and do no appear to be real.
"I have been getting many offers for daily soaps, but I am not taking them up as I want to act in a show, which is more realistic and youth centric like Remix," says Priya. Although she is busy doing cameos for different shows, Priya is reluctant to take up daily soaps. "I am very happy and content doing my cameos, but if something good comes to me then surely I would love to do daily soaps," adds Priya.
Priya has done cameo in shows like C.I.D, where she portrayed a forensic doctor, and also in Lucky. These days Priya can be seen in Yes Boss as a princess. "I am doing a cameo for four episodes in Yes Boss and I loved the experience, as it was shot in the Lakshwadeep islands and for seven days. I was on a cruise....and above that, I love the show very much, as it is fun. My role is that of a princess, who has memory problems. So again, it is a very funny character....," says Priya.
In an age of saas bahu serials, it is very difficult to find shows with realistic approach and also youth-centric. But till Priya finds one such, her fans will have to keep waiting for her to appear in some daily show. So folks, if you're admirers of Priya, you ought to be content with her short appearances only.
