Guys after watching that scene between Shareefuddin and Sukanya's honewale FIL, I felt that this is infact created just to humiliate Jalal in front of the whole Rajputs and the wedding mantap to turn ouit to be the war field. It is not to humiliate the Ameri's.

The only thing I am concerned about is them mixing up the emperor and husband. I would be pissed if jalal gave into any sort of demands because his wife will be pissed and she will pout and he has to pacify her. Akbar the great I am sure did not make any political decisions to satisfy anyone. His goal is to ensure the glory of his empire and any decision he makes should be just and fair, not because he thinks jodha will throw a fit. I hope they stick to the emperor in regards to jalal making political decisions and not confuse his sentiments with what he feels for jodha. If jodha can't deal with that then it is her problem. She is a wife of a king, plenty of conspiracies happen around the king, that is part of ruling and need to be truly great he needs to get past it. Jalal is not akbar yet so he will learn soon, but to give into conspiracies now because he is worried what people will think which might not be in his best interest only would make him look weak. The writers should tell a story where the emperor come husband are moving in the right direction, it might be a love story but it is also the love story of one of the greatest rulers of Hindustan.
