well said šŸ‘...what's the use of such bravery and courage which shows itslef only for strangers and not your own family...is respect for your in-laws is such a big thing that you will let your father get insulted...no matter how the circumstances are no one should let such young girl speak to some elder like this

Anandi, you are a shame. No daughter will behave like you.

You are not able to support your father who helped you in so many ways.

You are a hypocrite.

You deserve to be among those wolves and why are you asking us to help you decide.

Why you are still alive?

Go and die.

I agree with you entirely. Anandi's behaviour is shameful and hypocritical. No daughter would be able to stand quiet when her father is insulted in this shameful manner - not only by the elders, but by this nasty horrible arrogant and mannerless girl! What use is the apology in private? it is a very sad state of affairs if Anandi even needs to 'think' where her loyalties lie at this juncture. I would hate to have a daughter like her - spineless and always crying...can't speak up when its needed most..

I too don't want to see A acting like a helpless bahu - it sends out the wrong message to a large no of gullible viewers. The writer seriously needs to think carefully re: the underlying message of BV...unfortunately, many people think that their bahus should act in a similar fashion...

I must say, Anandi was entirely wrong in not stopping Sanchi from insulting her father. If she had spoken then even Shekhars would have realized that they are crossing the limits and that they are not sanskaris as they pretend to be and would have certainly realized that Sanchi has brought this on to herself with her behavior and that they are responsible for her upbringing. False ego and pride are going to pull down Shekhars. If CM is not liking it then even she should speak so that Anandi's voice would have got stronger in Shaekhars house and slowly but surely everybody would have been forced to think logically. CM and Anandi keeping quiet, trying to be good Bahus is the failing point for Shekhars.
Anandi certainly did wrong. Regardless of who is arounfd her she should have repriminded Sanchi about her behavior. But then... where is that fighter Anandi?

Yes trying to keep the peace up to a point is fine. But when it boils down to Sanchi insulting A's father, an elder, in the presence of her family AND the family staying quiet and thereby taking her side, all limits have been crossed. A should definitely have had the courage to speak out and show that she has some backbone left in her. Maybe if she had done that, CM would have had the courage to say something too. Maybe this would have made the Shekhers realise that there is something in Sanchi's behaviour which needs correction.
