The beginning actually goes like:

"peerh teri kidda zara ve, ve main ki karaan ki karaan haniya"

Peerh: Pain,

Kidda: How

Zara: bear, tolerate

Haniya: partner, lover, friend

^ It's in Punjabi and basically means I cannot bear to see you in pain. What can I do to reduce your pain or I can't help but feel restless seeing you in pain. I'm not sure about second part. It can mean either of the two I mentioned!
