I for one am thrilled with your new venture and one more thread to stalk and spam! Thanks to the people who cornered you!!!😉

This played out in front of my eyes as two incidents one involving Anjali and Shyam and one with Arnav and Khushi happening simultaneously, in real time...

You had me fooled with the trip to Chandni Chowk but then I was wondering why is she saying that she is going to do this for herself...and enough pity ..I was intrigued wondering what happened for her to say that. Not once did I think you were talking about Anjali...

But the familiar fear seeing the boy with crutches did make me wonder momentarily but then thought maybe a prior bad experience ...

I am hoping Shyam is a good person here..and the glint and intensity that she sees in his eyes matching the one in hers ...and her feeling alive were so wonderful really wanting it to be true...love how she comes to the child's rescue and how he strikes up a conversation by calling her Laxmi bai, Rani of Jhani and here I was still wondering and thinking this is a very different Arnav ...and then came the Rani Sahiba...the give away...but done so seamlessly!

And so you were not too far away from your A/N it is about Laxmi!!!

Loved how she feels a wee bit stifled by the love and protectiveness that she has grown up with..probably making her feel more handicapped than she is...a constant reminder of her condition, her yearning to be independent and living like a regular person is understandable..

Her bumping into Shyam again ...destiny, coincidence or a plan?

I loved how Arnav thoughts and personality came out in the introduction, his past where he has had to make money and look after his sister, creating a wall around himself, yet uncontrollably he finds him self mesmerised by his ' Chamkili' loved the play with words and the fact that he is musing...

Loved his unexplained feelings of possessiveness and annoyance with the sister for spending too much listening to her...a stranger to him but bringing out feelings that he himself was unaware he was capable of feeling...loved the way you described her, the way he finds himself being pulled towards her it was so visual..fantastic Gita...

Loved how he comes back to the same mall with the hope of seeing her there and again bumps into her rather she falls into his arms literally ...loved the glimpses of their first meeting cleverly interpreted In your way...loved his description of her and the feelings and emotions she has evoked in him...

Loved how she feels his eyes on her and feels slightly afraid and uncomfortable ...making her run off...wondering what she was thinking am sure she has her own story...would love to know what is going on in her head ..does he evoke some feelings in her which she doesn't understand or is afraid of feeling...loved how he hears the song and bingo he comes with the name Chamkili...

I can't wait to see how these two stories run parallel to each other...wondering if they meet somewhere I knew you would be an accomplished writer and you have proved me correct...so proud of you and am here with your on this journey...Gita,every word you have written was just perfect and apt...

This is a tribute to chamkili EBP, I guess. It was beautiful. The scenes played out in front of my eyes. With the mention of chandini chowk, I thought it was khushi. That it was Anjali, was a surprise. Shyam again meets her in the hospital. Is he really genuine or is he stalking a rich abala naari is for us to wait and watch. Arnav muses here too. Since that man is verbally challenged, I guess he muses all the time. And he missed her a second time too. Poor man! Of course their first proper meeting has to be more dhamakedhar.

AD sucks and I had to come here! So much for putting up such a dramatic signature. Mami and PR manager are enough to drive to a mental asylum which is bound to happen very soon.

oyy.. Lucky i must be, the week i came onto Musings, i get double treat! ;)

The chapter one was all about : feeling something more than something at First sight!

The mention of Chandni Chowk, and all the colors and diyas and the festive times, never could i have imagined Anjali to be there without her 'Chotte' or any other family member flocking around her!

But she is a free bird caged in the protectiveness of her family and the way she reacted seeing the boy in crutches fall, she could relate his pain with hers!

Hey, i liked Shyam here, he seems genuine, friendly and good natured! 'Jhansi ki rani' or 'Laxmi Bai' jo bhi ho, but for Shyam, at the ned its 'Rani Sahiba' only!

While Anjali, too had been thinkin about him, they both meet again!

And on the other side, Arnav has sacred Khushi with his staring session! Or maybe Khushi's heart's dhak-dhak's and prominent acidity symtoms , which would have come up under Arnav's gaze have scared our run-away Khushi! ;)

i so loved the fact, that ASR, just to see the girl once again, came to the same Mall and Devi Maiyya granted him his wish, straight into his arms;) His Chamkilli- !!

Great to finally see you cave in to the pressures from your peers and finally bring in your own FIC on Arshi!

Congratulations for getting your first official SS out, I can't wait to read the first chapter. With your natural knack for writing and you wit I am sure it will be Fantastic. This ain't a reserve, I will come back again once you have written the first chapter! ;-)
