NONE of the Suitors are of MALLIKA'S Level - SUNIL BOHRA

After taking help, guidance or whatever you may want to call it from the likes of Mahesh Bhatt, Anu Malik and Rahul Mahajan, coming Wednesday, that is tomorrow producer-distributor-exhibitor Sunil Bohra will appear on the show The Bachelorette India. The man has known Mallika Sherawat from the time when she was known as Reema Lamba. He will also like the previous special guests on the show help Mallika choose the right partner for her.

Mallika was first introduced to Bohra by his family friend, the late actor Nirmal Pandey. In fact you will be surprised to know that when Mallika first stepped on Mumbai shores in 1997-98, it was he who had gone to receive Mallika at the airport. He had initially helped Mallika settle down in Mumbai and even helped her find rented accommodation on the back road of Yari Road in suburban Mumbai. Mallika's brother Vikram Sigh was training with Bohra to become a future producer in films.

Not just that once when Mallika was stuck without any cooking gas in her rented house, he sent his office boy with a gas cylinder to her house from his residence in downtown Altamount Road. Incidentally Mallika has still not returned the gas cylinder. Says Bohra, "I have reminded her many times about it in so many years. I have told her to at least return the empty cylinder and she just replies, 'Nahin doongi!'

Bohra complains further, "She once called me when she was in the US to lend Rs.5000 to her driver in Mumbai which I promptly helped out with. She hasn't bothered to return that also. I agreed to go on the show after the Ajit Thakur, the channel head requested me to. I have known her for many years but I have never interacted with any of her boyfriends and here I was supposed to meet these 14 to 15 boys and help her shortlist them. I can tell you that none of these boys are of her level."

Why does Bohra think Mallika has refused to return even the empty cylinder? He quips, "She thinks that the cylinder is lucky for her. After she borrowed the cylinder from me her films Khwahish and Muder became big hits. I make so many films but unfortunately I have not been able to work with her because we never had the right script for her."
