TOI: Article - Nandini off to slow start

The much-talked about reality show The Bachelorette India " Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika got an average of 1,700 TVT in its opening week (the launch episode got 2,500 TVT). It's much lower than what other non-fiction shows got in their first week. For instance, Kaun Banega Crorepati garnered 8,705 and Bigg Boss 5,080 TVT.

Navratri affects prime time shows Many prime-time shows saw a slight drop in their ratings this week and analysts feel it's the dandiya mood that caused it. As a result, the gross ratings of all channels also dropped in comparison to the previous week. Among General Entertainment Channels (GECs), Star Plus continued to take the lead. While Colors was on No.2, Zee ended up being a close No.3.

The new much-hyped political drama that replaced Chhanchan, got a TVT of just 1,035.

Mahasangam beats Mahaepisode Qubool Hai's mahaepisode got 3,857 TVT. But Zee also had a mahasangam this week between two shows Do Dil Bandhe... and Pavitra Rishta. This got a higher TVT of 5,381.
