After bheegi's post, I did watch the episode.
This is the first time Asad is seeing Zoya in the environment he has led her into. He still is unable to comprehend fully what Zoya is going through and also the implication of his decision.
What stood out in todays episode for me the most is Asad showing signs of jealousy for a moment.
I do have mixed feelings about this though.
I am happy that Asad is finally jealous even if it is in his subconscious mind. It also means he's normal. It also means that his feelings for Zoya is slowly taking precedence over Ayaan & his other siblings.
I am nervous about it too. It is the beginning of the rift that will happen between Asad and Ayaan. Asad is going to be jealous about the Mobert relationship in future. It was interesting that in the dream sequence, he smiled at Mobert. But after today's epi, he's going to do a 360 or at least a 180 on Mobert.
We did see a start of this in the hospital. When he walked in Zoya helping Ayaan into the hospital clothes, he did feel a twinge of jealousy. That was obvious when he wanted to caress Ayaan on his hair. He hesitated and then his concern and love overrode that jealousy and continued with his action.
The hug
When Asad hugged Zoya, he hesitated at first and then he clenched his fist before hugging Zoya. I do know that some would point out that Karan sometimes does fist]. His expressions was oscillating between anger and desperation of the separation.
If Zoya had run into his arms, the jealousy he felt earlier on would have been pushed aside and would have got diluted.
We did him see him clenching his fists when Zoya was tending to Ayaan earlier too and he did so again when Zoya did not run into his arms.
Our boy Asad is angry - jealous anger.
GOOD - Tanveer confronts him again, he will not fall prey to her no matter what.
BAD - if Tanveer says or does anything about harming Zoya or is physically in front of her. If even finds out what Tanveer tried to do to Zoya on the day of the nikaah,he might/will harm her.
